Okay, my apologies for the pedantry, but I've spent an hour trying to decipher this joke. A Darwin award is when someone dies in a stupid way thus removing their stupid genes from the pool. Is there a scenario here where that could happen here or is just like a reference to Darwin studying in the Galapagos?

It's an onion. But I took it that, if that's a stupid way to die (jerking off to Sweeney/Armas) then Johnnie's OK with that.

It was just a play on Darwin spending time on Galapagos the way they are and the "Award" I'd get is one where I'm very, very, very wrong about the intentions of my actions. It wasn't even about dying from jerking off because of the expectation!
