Go-to's for sports news?

Post by GoodKarma »

For many years my daily internet stops for sports new/opinions were Deadspin, The Big Lead and Awful Announcing. With Deadspin shifting to AI generated news only and The Big Lead appearing to have given up on regular updates what sites do you guys visit (other than Defector) for that type of content?

The Athletic, Yahoo, the Defector and the Swamp. (Not necessarily in that order).

Defector, and The Swamp. Pretty much the only ones I check regularly. Sometimes ESPN, The Ringer, or The Athletic.

Pretty much just the Swamp or Googling EPL scores. ESPN app and CBSSports for fantasy football.

I use the CBS Sports app to check scores. I stopped paying for The Athletic at some point because I wasn't utilizing it enough but I do get the Pulse daily newsletter and usually read that. I still use an RSS reader that aggregates articles from all of the expected places, and then here or Twitter.

I use the Yahoo sports app on my phone for checking scores...and schedules like "who is the early EPL game this saturday?" kinda stuff.
