Got one of these yet? Is this how it works? Go team. Slider, slider, split.
It's the sixth version of The Swamp. What could possibly go wrong?

Which Rays pitchers do I want to target in drafts?oiler wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:35 pm Got one of these yet? Is this how it works? Go team. Slider, slider, split.
Going on too many dates making you not pay attention around these parts I guess.
Yep - I missed his return.duff wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 9:58 pmGoing on too many dates making you not pay attention around these parts I guess.
I told Mahr I'd come back to the league if you guys ditched CBS but it sounds like you all would rather have a broken old system than another broken old man who steals your players.tennbengal wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 7:12 pmWhich Rays pitchers do I want to target in drafts?oiler wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:35 pm Got one of these yet? We are old men now and set in our ways, Oiler. But Martin still brings fantastic artisinal cheeses - you should come back anyway.oiler wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2025 1:47 pmI told Mahr I'd come back to the league if you guys ditched CBS but it sounds like you all would rather have a broken old system than another broken old man who steals your players.tennbengal wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 7:12 pmWhich Rays pitchers do I want to target in drafts?oiler wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2025 1:35 pm Got one of these yet? Ryan Pepiot and Rasumussen. And keep an eye on Edwin Uceta for sleeper saves, but I wouldn't draft him
Round 2 then, to be safe...mister d wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2025 1:49 pm I'm back in a league this year and my odds of ending up with McClanahan dropped from 100% to like 97% when we switched from auction to draft.
I guess that would make you… Rue the day…mister d wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2025 1:49 pm I'm back in a league this year and my odds of ending up with McClanahan dropped from 100% to like 97% when we switched from auction to draft.
I've got a long running, free Yahoo roto league that has 1 spot.
Wait.... there's not even a live auction any more ?!?!tennbengal wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2025 2:37 pm We are old men now and set in our ways, Oiler. But Martin still brings fantastic artisinal cheeses - you should come back anyway.
There is absolutely still a live auction, that is what Martin brings the cheeses to. Still in South Orange, but now in a swanky condo's gathering space rather than the large house that SteveH used to reside in.oiler wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2025 10:59 amWait.... there's not even a live auction any more ?!?!tennbengal wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2025 2:37 pm We are old men now and set in our ways, Oiler. I will bump this thread when we gather in four weeks and I can tell you the specific building - it’s like maybe four blocks from the main part of south orange business area/train station areamister d wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2025 10:48 am I'm having vague recollections of hearing about this guy from a long time ago. Which condos is he in?
Seems like this was the first step to freeing the teams’ ability to go direct to consumer streaming.wlu_lax6 wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 9:53 am So apparently the Nats and O's resolved the TV agreement. Starting next year the Nats get their rights back. Good for the Nats but makes no sense for the Orioles..unless they see the local tv rights decreasing in value versus the new media agreements.
WaPo seems to think Nats will end up on Monumental (Ted's station that shows Caps, Wiz, morning sports talk, and who knows).EnochRoot wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 10:44 amSeems like this was the first step to freeing the teams’ ability to go direct to consumer streaming.wlu_lax6 wrote: Mon Mar 03, 2025 9:53 am So apparently the Nats and O's resolved the TV agreement. Watching the opener I was thinking that "wait, who's that guy on the mound?" season starts earlier every year.mister d wrote: Thu Mar 13, 2025 5:41 pm I can't believe how much my baseball knowledge has fallen off. I don't know 3 of the top 15 pitchers in my league's projected rankings.
The bad news:On Friday the Mariners — in conjunction with ROOT Sports, their regional sports network — announced they are launching the ROOT Sports Stream app. It immediately offers a direct-to-customer streaming package for fans in the Mariners’ TV footprint to watch their games, regardless of location, and without blackout restrictions or a cable subscription.
That footprint includes Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska and portions of Idaho.
$20 a month is pretty steep to watch the offense struggle and strike out with 2 men on.Fans can sign-up at Mariners.com/stream, and additional information is available there. The Stream app is available for $19.99 per month with no long-term commitment.
We have one more spot open now, draft is Tuesday Mar 25 20:15 EToiler wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2025 10:58 amI've got a long running, free Yahoo roto league that has 1 spot.

As far as I know, signups started today with a week to complete. I was getting antsy about it, but saw an ad for it online ether yesterday or the day before.Giff wrote: Tue Mar 25, 2025 11:37 amT-Mobile users get free MLB.TV. I missed the deadline to do so, but just redeemed it.
That's fantastic. I like Coors Field a lot (as well as Wrigley, duh).L-Jam3 wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 5:28 pm Aw nice, Steve. I’m going to Wrigley for the first time the end of April, and then to Coors for the first time a week later.

Magenta MAX. Not working. But I'm sure my plan is technically Fuchsia MINOR now or something stupid.DSafetyGuy wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 2:01 pm Apologies for not mentioning this, but you have to be a "Magenta" or higher level customer.
The rotation? Probably, but I'd give Fried a bit more respect than that.mister d wrote: Thu Mar 27, 2025 2:38 pm Can the Yankees average a home run per inning all season long???????
