Thanks, not sure why I couldn't link. We had dinner on that same block, and it hasn't been covered up yet. Honestly, there are parts and aspects of Alabama I hate, but I love my fucking town.

Yes...it can and will. There is no bottom.

I don't have the context for this, but I assume it is at a Roy Moore rally...

I am so ready for this Roy Moore election to end. There is just no bottom to our political discourse. Anyone see Moore's campaign spokeswoman on TV? She is the absolute worst. Besides being a moron who can barely spit out a coherent sentence, she screams at the hosts, cuts them off, and goes on long, bizarre rants that don't come close to answering any questions. On one interview, she railed about Soros and the evil Dems bringing in people from out of state to tell Alabamians how to vote. This was just a minute after talking about how Roy Moore is so great, she came down from her Ohio just to help get Moore elected. When asked whether Moore still believes Muslims should be banned from serving in the Senate, she talked about how Sharia Law prevents Muslims from obeying the Constitution. Then she goes into several minutes of how Moore loves the Constitution so much, he was willing to violate the law while serving as a judge to uphold his religious beliefs.

Then there was this. Roy Moore's Vietnam War buddy, talking about the time he and Roy went to a brothel with very pretty underage whores, and Roy didn't fuck any of them. What a heartwarming tale to endear us to the man, and make us forget he has a fetish for teenaged girls.

As Charlie Pierce noted, on the same day Moore had a rally where he brought in Bannon (Virginia), Louie Gohmert (Texas) and David Clarke (Wisconsin) in to speak and to stump for Moore. These people have no shame, no self-awareness, no morals, no dignity, no nothing. It's a complete embarrassment that even 35-40 percent of the country identifies with these clowns.

Based on the video of Roy Moore riding his pony to the polls, and his goofy hat, and his wee pistol that he pulls out at rallies, I have to state that Roy Moore is actually the cowboy from The Village People.

A friend of mine posted that video and I responded I hate the things these people make me think.

I was thinking I hope that horse thinks Christopher Reeve is riding him. And now I feel bad.

Feeling bad about wanting a racist, sexist pedophile to be paralyzed rather than serving in the Senate seems ok. Let that one go.

I look at it this way - people like Roy Moore and his supporters would be very happy to toss my family into an oven. Let the horse fall on him and then rape his ass.

David Clarke, Stacey Dash, and Parris Dennard are so far in the Sunken Place they'll play themselves in the Get Out sequel.

I get your point but I bet Wisconsin has a fair amount of cowboys.

This clip was the final minute of a 10 minute interview. The first 9 minutes were almost as horrific. These people genuinely have no concept of religious freedom extending beyond their narrow sliver interpretation of Christianity. This fucker is the only Moore campaign rep I've seen who took the bait in answering whether Moore still believes a Muslim can't serve in Congress, and still believes homosexuality should be criminalized. He said the Bible is very clear homosexuality is a sin, and this nation was founded on Christianity, but some Swamp People feel they can interfere and declare what the laws are.

I've always felt very strongly in supporting Freedom of Religion, but these fucking assholes make me want to start a War on Christmas and oppress Christianity. They can't comprehend that not allowing them to impose their religion on all isn't oppressing them.

With the GOP losing a seat in the Senate it actually gives each individual GOP senator more power as it takes less of them to block something.

Why doesn't Marco Rubio just tell McConnell he won't vote yes unless the Child Tax Credit is added. Others like Corker and Lee have concerns too.
They could so easily delay this and make the right provisions to this terrible plan. Otherwise by rolling over, they'll just get destroyed in the midterms and 2020.

Because Marco Rubio has the political spine of a damp washcloth.
