He was probably too busy eating poutine and playing hockey and apologizing and wearing lots of layers to notice how dumb that comment was.

Shouldn't this be in the "Racism" thread?

You know your ad company sucks when they copy Jonah Ryan's campaign ad from Veep.

It's hard to believe Jonah's ad wasn't a parody of Donnelly's.

Gotta figure most Giants fans aren't gonna be too happy about this (the ad was really, really, really bad even by the standards of today's racist Republicans).

Beto. No. Stop that. You fucking hammer him for the liar he is.

Beto O'Rourke says he may have gone 'a step too far' for calling Ted Cruz 'Lyin' Ted'

Why would CNN even ask him that question or put up that headline.
He's stuck now, he wants to hammer Cruz but doesn't want to take it out of Trump's playbook.

For those of you following control of the Senate, if Heller is re-elected in Nevada that's a straight-up firewall preventing any hope of the Dems taking control of the Senate.

HOWEVA...after one day of early voting results, it ain't looking good at all for Dean Heller. (Caveats aplenty here, but remember there is early voting data in Nevada going back for two decades now. That's not an insane amount of data, but it is enough to establish some predictive behavior. And based on that, Rosen could end up winning much more easily than expected.

Also, after two days of early voting, total number of voters is running a bit more than 300 percent higher than 2014. Also a very bad omen for the GOP (in NV at least).

Don't worry. Even if the blue wave fires on all cylinders I'm sure the GOP will retain just enough control in states like Ohio to force through retroactive (and temporary) changes to term lengths.

Apologies if brian posted this elsewhere:

GOP running for gov in NV has most of his family come out against his candidacy.

Ouch.

No way. So much better than a constant spam of bashing the opponent or sucking Drumpf's dick.

So this mid-term seems to be a last chance to check the formalization of white nationalism as the dominant political force in the US. No pressure.

If the Democrats at least don't take back control of the House, we're not going to still be in the United States by the time the 2020 election rolls around. We've already talked about it a great deal and I have a meeting with my bosses in December and option 1 is going to be to switching to a consultant in late 2019/early 2020 so I'm responsible for any and all taxes by living overseas.

It's possible they might not go for that, which will result in some much harder decisions, but if I can figure out a way to put together enough hustles to earn about $20K a year (pre-tax) then we'll still be gone.

The plain lies from the white house and republicans on the trail that they are fighting to protect pre-existing conditions coverage is actually making me depressed this morning. Literally. I am just sad. I don't know why any of us do this.

Not sure where this should go, but apparently in addition to the pipe bomb found near Soros, someone sent explosive devices to the Clintons and Obamas.

And now CNN's HQ evacuated after "suspicious package found." This is clearly the work of the violent, radical Leftist mobs that are the majority of the Democrat Party; a false flag to try and cheat before the midterms.

And the latest polls show widening leads by the GOP in Texas and Nevada. All this tells me is that there are still too many terrible white people.

I'm not saying the shitty news network preferred by undecideds and two extreme-institution Dems being targets isn't the worst thing that could happen. I'm not explicitly saying that and that's not something someone should say.

Parody is dead. QAnon and /R/The_Donald all over it. Soros sending bombs to himself to distract from the Caravan he is paying for. Which begs the question, if he is paying these people to march from Honduras to create a news story, why is he mailing bombs to himself, the Clintons, Obama and CNN to distract from the story he organized and paid to create?

I meant more recently.

You know, considering the absolute hatred people feel towards the last three presidents, you've got to figure the Secret Service does a pretty good job.
