Big Mouth is childish, vulgar and inappropriate. I love it.

I’m seriously considering making my daughter watch it when she hits puberty. I would’ve loved life a lot more had this show been around in 1990.

Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ali Wong was the wild card, and she pulled it off.

Anyone watching Tuca and Bertie? Wong is the voice of the lead and the animation is done by the artist who does Bojack Horseman. I'm finding myself rewinding and pausing just to catch all the jokes.

I've seen a couple, and it's alright.

But just hearing Tiffany Haddish makes me smile.

This New Yorker appreciation of Keanu Reeves is pretty cool. Touches on his enigmatic public life.

Oh, question about that!

I watched the first season last night. In episode 1, was the wife not talking to him at the end because he set up the whole ransom/pig fucking thing because he got off on it or was it just because he enjoyed fucking the pig and maybe since the broadcast wants to fuck another pig?

I recently learned that Netflix is full of programming that you shouldn’t watch near your college-age daughter, unless you want to feel really awkward.

(Ex: Big Mouth, Ali Wong...)

Not Nextflix but Amazon Prime
1.) The new All or Nothing (Carolina Panthers) is well done. But expect nothing else from that series and NFL. Basically Hard Knocks but during the season. They have also done Man City, Michigan, and Dallas Cowboys in past years.
2.) Liking "The Boys". Superhero series with a very interesting twist on good guys and bad guys. You can tell they were budget limited in some things but the story and premise works. (Also cast has some weird connections--one of the main characters is Tony Romo's brother in law, Denis Quaid/Meg Ryan's kid, Elisabeth Shue).

The Scorcese/Bob Dylan 'Rolling Thunder Revue' documentary is pretty cool. Dylan at the height of his powers, and lots of weirdo cameos from Allan Ginsberg, Sam Sheppard, Sharon Stone, etc.

The live version of 'Isis' is brilliant.

Had to ban them from my kids. Despite being great books, my son, when he and I were reading them had some behavior issues that could be directly linked to my choice in reading material (including this series).

2nd Season of Derry Girls is okay - still a few laughs, but not as good as the first season.

In fact, a couple of the plot lines were such hackneyed sitcom tropes that if it weren't for the fine actors and a couple of lines, the entire episodes would be in the "feh" rather than the "meh" category.

Still, a couple great episodes and there's only 6 of them so you can zip right through. And the old guys looking for Bill Clinton is comedy gold.

I really liked the last season of Orange is the New Black. I was getting tired of the show over the last few seasons, but I thought they did a good job with closure and there are so many strong compelling characters (with great actresses). And the ICE sucking balls ruining lives was a good addition to the story line.

Second that. I was surprised that season 2 was as good as it was - so many shows have a good opening season and then seem to tread water in the next one. Moving the girls to Vegas seems like a great idea.

Even if you're not a fan of the show, you may want to watch episode 3. Alison Brie is an outstanding actress.

I was afraid it was going to be Garden City, the one that this year's team got into a fight with. Mostly because that coach said he didn't do it like INdy, then did everything just like Indy.

That guy left for a D2 job. I was a little worried about the same thing, until I saw the "where are they now?" credits at the end.

Not sure why, but I decided to revisit Eddie Murphy 'RAW'...the one with the red leather suit...on Saturday night. (Probably because I had watched the Comedians in Cars with him a few nights previous).

And oh boy....does not quite hold up in today's world. Had to turn it off after about 10 minutes. Maybe I'm an 'easily triggered snowflake', but the opening bit about Mr T as a <insert f-word slur about homosexual men> was too much.

I understand a lot of that doesn't hold up, but hasn't Eddie turned over a new leaf and admitted his earlier stuff was hurtful?

And besides. The ice cream man bit!
