I asked my wife this last night 30 minutes after our Moms got to the house and saw her glass was empty, and her response was “not enough.”

Maple old fashioned. Rye, maple syrup, and muddled orange slice and luxardo cherries.

I mix up a decent Manhattan (um pretty regularly these days) and these are the cherries - but i got a little miffed when they went up to 19 bucks here ... guess we're getting a bargain in WNY and I'll be thankful? about the price here

No need for any bitters!

We had it at a tasting room so had to recreate at home.

Maybe he's just a fan of 90s girlpop and the Nato alphabet, did you ever even consider that?

Watching Illini hoops while my wife is visiting her mom, it’s Miller High Life.

This may be the first time I’ve had the house completely to myself in 20 years.

Normally, for liquor I’m partial to bourbon or rye. But, it’s a nice spring day here, and we’re drinking Negronis. Decent change of pace.

4 parts gin
2 parts Campari
1 part red vermouth
Twist of orange peel
Over ice in a rocks glass

Love a Negroni. Feel free to use that bourbon or rye instead of gin and have a Boulevardier.
