I wouldn't have gotten that if I had 100 guesses.

Seems like it would be something unlikely, like a no hitting player great a defense, so I'll say Ozzie Smith.

After Schmidt, Murphy, Dawson were eliminated, I was going to guess Ricky Henderson - but surely he would have been one of the top 100 guesses?

None correct so far.

I'm with mister d—not sure anyone would know if they weren't a fan of this guy's team that year, and maybe not even then.

Unless someone is related to him, no one will ever guess that. Finished 7th in the MVP vote, however.

A hint, which maybe ups the chances of someone getting it right by 1%: Despite his Anglo-sounding name, he is Puerto Rican.

I would’ve guessed top 20, but only because I once played in a roto league named after him in 1987. My friend who ran it was/is a weird dude.

My trivia skills are going to hell.

Rule #1: Read the damn question.

Johnny Carwash wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2019 4:08 pm I did a wonky WAR question a while back (John Valentin!) so here's another one:

In 1983, this player led all N.L. position players in WAR, beating out such luminaries as Mike Schmidt, Andre Dawson, and Dale Murphy, and trailed only Cal Ripken and Wade Boggs in the majors as a whole.
I still have no idea what any of those Sabermetrics things are.

I liked wlulax's Sam Jackson trivia from yesterday, and then saw this on reddit and thought it would make a good round of trivia as well:

Name one of the top 10 actors with the most all-time onscreen movie deaths:
1. Christopher Lee - 60 (Pruitt)
2. John Hurt - 45
3. Bela Lugosi - 36 (EnochRoot)
4. Vincent Price - 32 (EnochRoot)
5. Sam Jackson - 28 (brian)
6. Sean Bean - 25 (rass)
7. Charlize Theron - 25
8. Liam Neeson - 24 (A_B)
9. Michael Biehn - 24
10. Mickey Rourke - 22 (EnochRoot)

Hints:
- Movies only, TV doesn't count.
- One is female.
- The list goes back to the 1930s, but most of the actors are more recent.
- I would call 8 of the 10 actors major stars; the other two most would recognize but are more like "That Guys."

Yes on Bean and Jackson, no on Cumberbatch and Rickman.

Bean was one of the two "That Guys" but maybe he's better known than I assumed.

Doesn't include a movie like Edge of Tomorrow where Tom Cruise gets killed like 200 times right?

As far as I can tell only one death per movie counts. Cruise isn't on it btw.

Also just to clarify, this is a total count of movie deaths, not a subjective list of "best" ones.
