Anyone else always think about a chain italian restaurant when the Carabao cup scores pop up? And wonder why would Bloomin' Brands use that instead of Outback or Flemmings.

I'm going to Paris around Valentine's Day, and PSG is playing at home on that Sunday. What is the ticket reseller they use in France? I tried to look for tickets with StubHub but it doesn't appear that they list there.

Also seemed like bullshit on the Otamendi goal, although I'm not sure how to weight "that wasn't stoppable" against "it seems like some guys stopped playing".

Watching the alma mater in the d3 semis right now. Good guys went up 1-0 on a nice passing combo. Conn College came back with a top class strike. Of course ref had called a good game but blew one and a frustrated General kicked the ball away...for his 2nd yellow. So going to O.T. playing 11 v 10.

Also the kid who scored for W&L had 6 goals in the regular season. This was his 11th in the playoffs (NCAA record holder).

So rumor mill is Dest likely on his way out of Barca. I like that 30M euros is called a reasonable non-inflated transfer price.

I can't believe I'm saying this about a 21 yo American getting regular playing time at Barca, but I'm glad he is getting out. Going to be a rough few years there.

And the coverage of Dest has been pretty negative the last few weeks from the Spanish/Barca press. Sounds like a combo of him not getting a new system and the tradition of shitting on American players/.

The Leicester-Liverpool Carabao cup game right now is a cracker. Not a lot of defense...3-2 Foxes with 20 minutes left.

Watched the extended highlights - Leicester is now Bottle F.C. They outSpurs Spurs.

Speaking of which, a solid win for the good guys yesterday. Suddenly, Spurs backline looks really strong. Loving this Conte fella.

It was a great match to watch. LC was just hoping to hang on there at the end...with Liverpool going all out to get the equalizer, and with Anfield at full roar.

Spurs all of a sudden look dangerous. The match against Liverpool on Sunday was great fun, even though Harry Kane should have absolutely been red-carded.

The Southeast Asian Cup never disappoints. This is as wild a game as you'll ever see between Indonesia and Singapore. First leg was was 1-1 so this is a do or die 2nd leg (no away goals)
