incredible scenes in France yesterday, never seen anything like it. Needless to say the ref has been suspended indefinitely.

I hope they take back the card. The ref cut right in front of the player, and he clearly tried to avoid the ref. I think the ref went to the pocket way too fast, clearly acting on the emotions of getting tripped.

Card or not, he intentionally kicked a player! Done forever whether he pulled that yellow card or not. A ref has to have WAY better judgment than that.

So Landon D to Leon. What is the real story? Can't be $. Think he needs to get out of town from his 2nd wife and kids? Why Leon? Why did that club reach out to him? This goes against his not running for US Soccer President because he wanted to get more involved at the grass roots/youth level.

1. Vietnam playing in the final of a continental championship (AFC Under-23)

not in Vietnam, the tournament was in Changzhou, China.
Still that was crazy snow.

I gotta think playing in snow put the Vietnamese at a huge disadvantage. How many of those players have ever played in snow before? Did the Uzbekis switch out of their white jerseys at half time so they didn't blend in with the snow?

They spent an hour at halftime shoveling the field. Uzbekistan asked to change to blue cause they couldn't see each other.
Vietnamese players had never even seen snow until they practiced in it on Friday. I thought when the Uzbeks scored early it would be blowout. But Vietnam really fought hard.

Pretty much.
5 London teams in the Premiership and a good chance that Fulham will be up next year as well. Millwall has a decent chance to make the Championship playoffs. That's a team that none of the other London teams wants in the Premiership
