More American soccer luck to have Pulisic going to a Chelsea that is imploding.

What is the referee's role in this.
I guess it not like baseball where the player must come off when announced?

Azpilicueta.

Sarri tried to walk it all back in the press conference after. A "Misunderstanding" and the keeper was right "but in the wrong way."

Must have spoken to his accountant before he faced the press.

Incredibly, Getafe Is In La Liga's Final Champions League Position
All 11 of Getafe’s players on Saturday – all 13, counting the substitutes – cost €4.2m and over half of that went on a single player, Dakonam Djene. Lionel Messi makes almost that much in a month.

This is odd, because she can't play NWSL until she is 18, and she can't sign for a Euro team academy because she doesn't qualify for an EU passport. Not sure what she can do. And she forfeits the scholarship to UNC she signed at age 11. Can you imagine signing a letter of intent to a university at age 11? FFS, how can you commit to that?

Hannover is in the midst of a relegation battle.

When things like this happen, it would seem that a team is doomed.

ETA: They lost 3-2

And received a 10-year stadium ban, which seems light to me. He should be barred for life.

I saw something from the team saying lifetime ban.

"We deplore the behaviour of the individual who committed this act and rest assured he will be banned from St. Andrew's for life. The club will also support any further punishment this individual may face in the eyes of the law

Hmm. I read earlier it was a 10-year ban from all stadia. Maybe he's banned from all stadia for 10 years but banned from BCFC for life. If so, that's a step in the right direction.

That was great. What an amazingly polite and calm response, both to the obnoxious fans and seeing the hideous sculpture. I mean, the face looked like Alexi Lalas!

A lot of respect earned for Beckham's behaviour.

The funniest part may have been the "highlight" video.

Also I don't know how good Maz is as an actor but that was a big risk that Beckham is so busy he did not realize it was not the same person he met in Chicago.
The fact that Klein did not start laughing was the best acting job there.
Also Beckham honestly being appreciative of the fork lift guy was nice.

First can we talk about the quality of that photo? What kind of camera is that? Was it Aguero who the Men in Blazers dubbed as having the Megan Rapinoe hair tribute?

The author of that article is a good follow on twitter too. I love the "we'll be right back" posts for MLS highlights. Did a good article on Johan Cruyff for the Washington City Paper & 442 (https://www.fourfourtwo.com/us/features ... asl-career). He is a hustler. As a freelancer he is also an exotic automotive mechanic (he posts on the cars he is working on) and has done some really interesting photography work.

To me it is the statement at the end about despite being upset, insulted, etc....we realize the attention and will find some way to sell some stuff related to it.

Diego Costa Suspended For 8 Games

Will miss the rest of the season for Atletico, and they probably won;t re-sign him.

Apparently saying that you were going to shit on a Ref's whore mother is a no no.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
