Technically not a headline, but the comment on an ESPN Facebook post last night.
The magic of Tim Tebow continues.
Tim Tebow smacks a solo walk-off home run the opposite way in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the St. Lucie Mets a 5-4 victory over the Daytona Tortugas.
Is this little league?

I think they play seven innings a game in the minors if it's a doubleheader, but I could be wrong about that.

That's right. They don't play day-night double headers.

Is that single A? The crowd in the video may have been 200-300. But ESPN will never give up on him.

It's sad as fuck. They're already starting with the "better than Jordan" stories but that's such a low bar and so insane.
A friend just sent the Go Fund Me page, he already raised thousands of pounds beyond his goal, so he is donating the additional funds to some 3rd world charity that provides toilets to places without. Hope their second date goes better.

Sounds like the first date was going pretty good. Nando's Peri Peri and then back to "Netflix and Chill" at his place.

MANCHESTER — A city woman wanted on theft charges was arrested Friday in Manchester after walking into the Valley Street jail to apply for a job.
Manchester police said the woman, identified as Kristina Hoefs, 31, of Manchester walked into the Valley Street jail on Friday to apply for a job. While applying, jail staff realized Hoefs was wanted out of Maine on a theft related offense, and she was placed into custody without incident.
“In my 32-year career here, this is a first,” said Valley Street jail Superintendent Dave Dionne.
Dionne said Hoefs came in to apply for a job as a corrections officer.
