Taco Bell, Del Taco, and Jack in the Crack exist where phenomenal Mexican food exists? The majority of white people don't go to these places. They do drive through.

I think Giff has it here. When I lived in CA the quality Mexican places still had a majority of white clientele. The fast-food places are for the stoners or non-discriminating yokels just looking to stuff their faces as economically as possible.
I will spork-fight anyone who speaks ill of Del Taco, though.

Had a friend in college (in New Mexico) that insisted on getting food from Taco Bell, when there was an actual, Mexican place, with a wide-ranging and palatable menu, across the street. Service was just as fast, and the food was comparatively priced, plus free chips and salsa!

I'm watching OKC/GSW and a Taco Bell commercial comes on. I don't watch live tv that much so this is completely new to me.

I don't think they needed to make distinctions between some items (like a Double-Double vs. a regular cheeseburger from In-N-Out). That would have made more room on the list for worthy additions like Jumbo Jack at Jack In The Box.
Otherwise, pretty spot on.

the calorie counts seem skeptical. a spicy chicken sandwich at CFA is 90 more calories than an animal style burger at In-N-Out that is basically half the calories of a bacon cheeseburger at Five Guys?
(unless the animal style burger is one patty and not two)

Spent a summer working at Hardee's. NASCAR weekend was the worst. Man, I must have put on so much weight that summer, between that job and it being my first beer-drinking summer.

There's a Hardee's and a Bojangles across the street from Martinsville Speedway. I was wondering just how many biscuits got eaten that day.
I had Bojangles twice when I was in NC/VA two weekends ago. The second time I hit a small-town Bojangles on the way to the track and the biscuits were fresh out of the oven. Had I not ordered to go I probably would have gone back and gotten some more.

I hadn't heard of Bojangles until about 2 months ago. My first thought was the song
Mr. Bojangles. Then I Google it and see it's a chicken and biscuit place and I'm like "Well, that's an odd way to honor Sammy Davis Jr."

I guess it's my age or something, but I am surprised somebody associates Mr. Bojangles first with Sammy Davis Jr., rather than with either Jerry Jeff Walker, who wrote it, or the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, who had the hit record with it.

Chik fil A is awesome. Sad when it's a Sunday and find them closed. Props to a company that puts their beliefs above the USD. I realize their approach offends but they back it up and you have to respect that. FWIW, I don't agree with their beliefs, in totality, but respect their position and lack of contradiction.
