Take Buffalo since they're the first open team to come up in the draft. That way we can get some picks in before a possible delay.

In reality, I'm sure the Rams will trade out of this slot. However the second pick has divided Rams fans. I'm glad Giff took Clowney so I won't be compelled to list the reasons that won't happen. There is one more pick I don't think will happen and that's Sammy Watkins. Counting newly signed Kenny Britt, Fischer is currently carrying six WRs and 4 of them were drafted on Fisher's watch. He's committed to Bradford (grrrr) this year and the excuse given for Sam's troubles is all the coach/personnel turnover. Since they've retained OC Brian Schottenheimer (double fucking grrrr), I think he's going to stick with 'his' people and look elsewhere.
The two glaring needs on this team are OL and DB. They aren't taking a DB second overall. They re-signed inconsistent Roger Saffold and plan to stick him at RG to replaced the cut Harvey Dahl. Who knows if Jake Long is going to recover from surgery but at least Saffold could slide over and play LT if needed. So tackle it is. I like Jake Matthews and there's a school of thought that says since Fisher coached his Dad, he'll take a chance on the son. Maybe, but I think they take the highest rated tackle instead.

With the second pick in the 2014 Swamp NFL Draft, the Rams select Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn.

ETA: Jacksonville (Jerloma) is on the clock.

Without a doubt, the Cleveland Browns' biggest need is talent (and a stable front office, and not having a revolving door for coaches, but I digress.) Yes, quarterback is a glaring need, so everyone is thinking they'll draft a QB with their first pick.

But look at the so-called top four. Do any of them really stand out? Is Manziel worth the likely distractions, and can he stay on the field for every snap with his playing style? Do you trust Teddy Bridgewater and his tiny hands? Is Blake Bortles Dan Marino part 2, or is he just another big, immobile QB who can't read defenses? And for goodness sake, hasn't every NFL team decided that drafting a Carr early in the first round is a terrible idea?

There's no question the Browns need a QB, a wide receiver, right tackle and cornerback. They need to groom a running back to eventually take over for Ben Tate. But you know what? The Browns have a ton of draft picks in a draft deep in talent, so they can get all of those guys later one.

But you know what else they need? A good pass rushing linebacker. Yes, they signed Paul Kruger, and they drafted Barkevious Mingo last season. Kruger was a reach, and Mingo needs more time to develop. Well, let him develop next to the linebacker he's going to be paired with for years.

The Browns select Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo.

From what I've read, the Raiders need talent, too. And it's obvious they really need help on the offensive line, so hey, let's look for a big, talented offensive lineman to draft.

This guy fits the bill. The Raiders select Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M.

I suspect Atlanta would desperately try to trade back with Mack & Clowney off the board, but..

With the 6th selection of the 2014 NFL Swamp draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

I think they'll take one in the second or third. They may also be betting on one of them slipping. It'll be funny to see what they do if Derek Carr is there in the second. I'm still not sold they don't take Manziel and that's personally what I want them to do. Most vanilla franchise in sports. Give me some excitement at least.

If he doesn't make it in time, give the Bucs the WR from A&M. With Mack off the board, that's my best guess as to what they'll do. Manziel here wouldn't be a huge shock either.

Lots of so called draft experts have TE Eric Ebron going to the Bills at #8, but we all know that the real experts work the Swamp.

Therefore, the Buffalo Bills stick by their recently drafted QB and select a player to get his back... With the #8 pick in the Swamp 2014 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select: Taylor Lewan, Offensive tackle of Michigan University.

Bufffalo fans who would have preferred a safer OL (Zack Martin) or one of the sliding QB's, unlucky...
