Brody Stevens....damn.

Guy was very very funny, and very open about his issues with depression.

KEXP is playing a bunch of his stuff this morning, and lots of great covers.

Katherine Helmond.

Otherwise known (by old people) as Jessica Tate.

Edit to add: Holy shit, I'm older now than she was when Soap finished its run.

Maybe my weirdest crush (not super weird really, but still) when I was a kid. I honestly didn't realize she was still alive.

That's where I first saw her, but I think Soap when I think of her. That's probably because I watched the entire series over Memorial Day 1994.

You had Alyssa Milano on screen but went for woman who would have been her step-grandmother?

Hell no, I had a huge crush on Samantha Micelli! I just see Katherine Helmond and think Mona.

I had the same crush.

She was also great in the movie "Brazil."

Considering she is 4 years older than me, and her character was the same age as me, I'd say that was a healthy crush.

I honestly thought Jan-Michael Vincent was the guy who died in the 80s after shooting himself with a prop gun with blanks? Is this one of those Mandela Effect things?

And I am proud to say that I knew this fact off the top of my head.

At least I'm not crazy. Though I somehow am constantly surprised to see people still acting that I thought were dead. (The most recent one was Stephen Dorff in True Detective S3 until I realized the person who died I was thinking of was Brad Renfro.)

Wracked my brain,.. but it's not coming.

I do remember that Jennifer O'Neil was part of the show - or a movie he had been in.
