Bob Ross was a retired USAF Master Sergeant. He got his inspiration to draw happy trees and mountains from being stationed at Eielson AFB, AK. He was also, from what I can infer, a military training instructor (drill sergeant) and, once retired, vowed to never yell again the way he did while serving which led to his trademark voice while painting on his PBS show.

And once worked for the local cable company. Many years ago he came to my buddy's house selling their internet connection upgrade and my friend couldn't say no after talking wrestling with him for half an hour.

An understanding of the cargo cult concept is necessary to comprehend the thinking behind mainstream economics in this country.

I'm currently a complete sitcom cliche new parent. Yesterday I saw a package, opened it and thought "shit, someone just got me the same book I'm trying to sell back" before realizing it was the box I'd packed up the day before.

Not even Dr. Dunkenstein/1980? I guess Mark Aguirre's DePaul and Kyle Macy/Sam Bowie Kentucky. Herb Williams Ohio State too. That was a fun year (Louisville/UCLA final, Denny Crum/Larry Brown.)

Oh, and Slolz thinks that after winning a beer pong tournament, having your picture taken with your trophies in the same room as the people that you defeated in the beer pong tournament is disrespectful.

That's weird, right?

I'm guessing Farley would have found heroin and coke anyways. In a Freudian slip of sorts, I mistyped Farley as Fatley
