A college friend whose divorce became finalized in April decided he was not going to spend his first New Year's Eve since 2002 as a single man at his home. He arrived home at 9am this morning and also has a Tinder date tonight.

The text chain of our group of friends has gotten off to a good start this year.

I was asleep before 10:30pm on New Year's Eve, so I understand.

My friend acknowledged that he was probably going to catch Omicron (he also had the original strain in late spring of 2020), to which I added "among other things." I also asked if he practiced safe sex, specifically if she wore a mask while orally pleasing him.
