Same. Some of his stuff is tedious/repetitive but he's really good at coming off as a human/dad which makes this shittier.

The comments after the Deadspin piece are pretty good, people expressing genuine concern while also busting balls. The one asking if BIG CATALOGUE was responsible for this made me laugh.

Yeah, phrased weird because I didn’t want to use “self-inflicted”, but I wanted to include like a DUI accident or OD or anything like that where he fucked up. Logically(?) you don’t request privacy after a car accident.
I feel like if it was a DUI we would have seen news break on it. He's prominent enough that that info would have come out.

I agree, especially with how Drew, and Deadspin as a whole, come out with the knives when high-profile people commit similar acts.

I should also go to the doctor. I haven’t been to the doctor in six years and I feel stupid about it every day. I’m convinced that when I finally go for a checkup the doctor is going to tell me that I have some terminal illness that could have been cured if only it had been discovered one day earlier.

If you read the comments, most people took it the other way and think it confirmed this is real bad. I know my guess but even on a message board read by like 40 of us, it feels like a shit thing to write out.

Also that little blurb at the end of the funbag referencing Drew wanting to go to a bar makes me think this has to be an accident and that alcohol was not involved. There's no way he was hammered and they're making light of it if he is as banged up as we seem to think. Hope he gets better soon.
