And all should cry, Beware! Beware!
His flashing eyes, his floating hair!
Weave a circle round him thrice,
And close your eyes with holy dread
For he on honey-dew hath fed,
And drunk the milk of Paradise.

Only because I once lived on Coleridge street in SF, did I recognize that.

Funny, I recognize it because of when I was a youngster listening to Rush's song Xanadu. I became interested enough to read up on the Coleridge source material.

I don't think Rush's tune was the same as this one. (I was heavily clowned because I liked this)

I like the RG3 shirt with the backwards number. When do they take the scaffolding down from around the ship? (Yes, I stole that one from the guy's twitter feed.)
Redtails/Red Tails is getting some twitter love. Some fan ideas for logos:

The fans would show up wearing pilots uniforms and black face. Its the worst idea.

It’s all fine and good that they might change their name after all these years, but remember it’s still Daniel Snyder in charge. He’ll probably change the name to something worse like DC Snipers or some shit.

All three of the team's minority owners now want to sell their shares of the team.

Well that is because the franchise is a fiasco...not just the name...but it must be really not worth it because NFL money and growth is still big.

Also this name change is GREAT for sports radio (especially in DC). Just low content time and now plenty of chatter to fill the time.

Yeah, I sat there, staring at the post, knowing someone would say something while also knowing there's no real way to write it without using a handful of words when one suffices.

This may not be the worst time to divest ownership of any American pro sports team to be honest. Sell high and all that.

The franchise has been a fiasco almost throughout Snyder's ownership. Five non-consecutive playoff appearances in his 21 years of ownership (one the season immediately following his purchase that May) compared to nine last-place finishes. Six inning seasons, three .500 seasons, and a dozen losing seasons, including eight with double-digit losses.
They really must feel that the pull of the money is no longer strong enough... and that they won't make nearly as much money with Nike declining to sell their gear, plus other corporate sponsorship issues.
Wal-Mart, Target, and Dick's Sporting Goods have stopped selling Washington gear, as well.

Cooley was voted one of the 90 best on the team and worked for the team for a bunch of years post playing career. But he was a no thanks for coming back.
