Re: Under the knife

Having surgery on my wrist tomorrow to excise an avulsion fleck and re-attach the tendon, right above my ulnar nerve. Not sure if they're doing a right arm block or putting me out completely, but I think the former. Too bad Dr. Howard isn't my anesthesiologist. Never had surgery before, but I'm goi...

What are the chances that Housh outscores CJ and Graham tonight? Not as bad as you might think. TJ is averaging over 110 yards per game against BAL in his last 5 and has 3 scores in that span. Provided the Bengals can get into the end zone instead of settlinmg for field goals, Graham shouldn't have...

The problem is Johnnie, a $6 tester can be easily used to check the lights., so you'd only get lonely old women calling in your services.
I figured that was what he was really going after.

No offense, but when you lose, I get to go back to watching sports in the evening, then posting about them on a message board.

What I don't understand is this - Michael Redd is killing you like the lefty assassin he is. You are down to single digit deficit late in the ball game against the team ranked 28th in the NBA in field goal defense. Why is Kobe not guarding Redd? Yes, I understand you want to save him for offense, b...

I am wondering if we have now seen every tie in the "TurdFerguson Collection" or if tonight will unveil the final one.

Watched a little bit of the Clippers-Kings and Lakers-Bucks last night. Clips last night without Cassell and Kaman (again) jusy could not buy a shot. Shaun Livingston and, for a while, Cuttino Mobley were the only guys who could make shots. They pounded and pounded the glass, but couldn't get anythi...

"It says here you once wrote a fantasy football column on foxsports that no one read?" Same anecdote here (not that I would actually use it), only for NBA.com and currently doing it. How come I've never seen this before? Have you guys been keeping this a secret or have I just missed it? L...

There was a 500-way tie for second-fastest to post this, I'm sure. You deserve this one.

Is there where I mention the Reds signed Chad Moeller? Chad Moeller! The Reds would fucking no one. Not one person. That's not true, TB. The Reds would fucking me. However, they would first sign me to a 3-year, $27M contract to not play. Then again, that's probably a better use of their money that ...

On the topic of things that are said more now than back in the day, I can say with a great degree of confidence that the use of the term "playing the race card" increased exponentially after the O.J. trial. Did it ever get used before that trial? I don't think I ever heard of it prior to ...
