Re: some of it's magic, some of it's tragic But I had a good life all the way

Did people not hate their jobs and enjoy drinking and beaches before Jimmy Buffett wrote a song? DMB covered A Pirate Looks at Forty at the Gorge this weekend and the song is stuck in my head (for good reasons); might need to listen to more Buffett. It's still in my head (and I need to quit my job ...

Re: NFL 2023 - Week 1

Pats should have kicked the field goal when down by 8. At least the offense looked competent with two rookie offensive linemen against that great pass rush. Seeing the improvement of Mac Jones, Hunter Henry, and Bourne is enough to get Matt Patricia fired again. The defense could be really good.

The parents of children I work with are mostly extremely successful people spending a fortune on local taxes for good schools, a fortune on childcare/lessons/camps/nannys/tutors/etc and their children just spent a week on the top floor of a school with no air conditioning in the most humid/hot weath...

Vividly remember the 49ers not knowing who they would pick after the trade. What kind of insanity is that. Forget about the exorbitant price... Why make a trade like that and not be convinced that's your guy. Not to mention they had a QB already Especially in that draft. It was Lawrence, drop off, ...

Re: BUSINESS HORSE 2021 NFL MOCK DRAFT EXTRAVAGANZA

Yes, it's one of the worst trades of all-time. Hard to disagree. The 49ers turned three first-round picks, a third-round pick, and $27 million into a fourth-round pick. And they could have stayed put and taken Justin Field, Mac Jones, or stick with the Galloping Chicken at QB and draft Chase or Par...

In four games, both teams have scored over 10 runs. This was the first time this happened since 1894 when it happened twice in the same week (according to the Giants' announcer).
