Also have the Chargers rolling this week.

If you do decide to go with KC, you have Titans over Bengals available next week as a backup option (unless the schedule is wrong - I have to fix it weekly).

I'm trying to properly put the 1985 Bears into this thing and while doing so I came across a punter I'd never heard of for the '85 Colts named Rohn Stark. Holy shit this guy was like the greatest player of all time relative to his peers. EDIT: This mf-er was the '95 Steelers punter? I really don't r...

Re: WTF Does "Progressive" Mean

In the historical sense, going back to the start of the turn of the 20th Century when the term rose to prominence, “progressive” meant fighting for the economic benefits of workers and common people as opposed to corporate and wealthy interests. That’s still a good definition in my opinion. “Progre...

Re: NFL Week 7

I know we periodically have these discussions regarding statistics, but how on earth is the team that won two playoff games and the NFC Championship in 98 the "3rd Worst 5-1 Team Ever?" The 87 Chargers were - according to Aaron Schatz - better than that Falcons team after 6 games, yet they didn't w...

Re: NFL Week 6

Apropos of nothing, in a league I'm in with Pru and TurdRyan, I tried to switch my lineup but maybe it didn't take, so I was stuck having Russ on bye as my QB. That turned out to be somewhat fortuitous, because Russ's zero outscored Baker Mayfield's -0.3. I had a gut feeling that Aaron Rodgers was ...

Weird stance taken by the most progressive presidential candidate in the history of the world. Just in this country. Dolphins have named Tua the starter going forward. Seems to be weird timing as Fitzmagic is playing lights out and they're 3-3. They may have decided prior to the season started to make Tua the starter after the bye, regardless of what was happening. Can't hurt that it may also deflate their record...

Here's an interesting thought experiment. We accept that NFL players today are better athletes than they were in the past, and we can probably guess that coaching today is more advanced than in the past as well. So what do you think is the most past NFL champion who could beat the Jets this year on...

Much of the right has 1 core platform: and that's owning the libz. You can't reason with them, there will always be something made into a scandal, and the only thing you can do is burn it to the ground (metaphorically, with votes).
