I think this was the key. Albrecht got hot but there's no reason to keep him in there that long.

huge difference in sweeping and power. The precision of the mens game now is amazing. The Canada vs. Sweden game tonight had incredible shots that the women woudn't dream of making. Sweden gets 2 in the 9th, Edin has made some amazing shots tonight.

Who have thunk it, Canada will probably lose twice today and fall from 1st to 4th while eliminating a bunch of teams in the process.

Re: 2013 World Men's Curling Championships

This is crazy the Swiss have beaten the Czechs so there are 4 teams at 6-5. Canada 7-3 vs Sweden 6-4. Tied 7-7 in the 9th, Swedes with hammer. The arena is dead quiet. Nervous. If Canada wins, they finish first and 4 teams are saved (CZE, SUI, NOR, CHN). If Canada loses, they finish 4th and 4 teams ...

English lyrics in K-Pop make no sense, no idea why they even include them. Even though I like to post songs of dancing girls, it actually makes up a small minority of all K-Pop songs. There are a lot of ballads. Here is today's Korea Billboard Top 50. There are very few fast songs and more ballads a...

Here's a discussion I've been having, um, elsewhere on the Internet. When you're tied and the other team has the ball for the last possession, I think there are some situations where fouling (or at the very least pressing and accepting the foul as a possible result) is the right call. You may give ...

Well, I'm pretty sure Iginla would be harder to trade if he weren't an expiring contract. That actually worked in Cal-Gary's favour. I've always thought it was easier to trade a existing contract (preferably with 1 year left) so that it's not giving up good prospects for just a 2 month rental. Do i...

Because Iginla picked his deal.

When you trade an expiring contract to only one team you can't expect much.
Feaster would take the Boston deal over this one but Iginla has the final say.

No-trade clauses really handcuff teams.
