Think i'll put money on England just to get more invested in the team. England fans will never be happy with their squad... As a West Ham fan, I'm very disappointed Andy Carroll isn't on the squad. He was just getting good again, scored a lot of goals towards the end of the season.
2nd ? You gotta be fucking kidding me. We lost 4 backs and Diarra in a month, I have zero trust in our backline (evra koscielny rami sagna) which got scored Twice upon by a weak Cameroon.
We ll have to score 2 or 3 goals each time because we ll allow at least one. The silver lining is Payet and Griezmann seem to score at least one free kick per game and we have a good attacking bench.

Still, allez les bleus !
And you've got this guy.

I am sure Zumba would agree, but just having Wales in the final stages of this is fantastic...
Soild back 4 with a decent enough keeper. Two good holding midfielders, great team understanding in that there job is to contain and give the ball to Ramsey and Bale as quickly as possible.

Didn't help just now.

Evra being close to a 8-year run as a LB starter whereas he gives up one crucial goal at every tournament will never stop to infuriate me. Sagna can't cross for shit. Our two dcs are mistake-prône.
Lloris' save in the first quarter was crucial because they dont handle pressure well, to say the least. Griezmann should be better next time, now that opening game is off our chests
That was such a weird experience... Watching Wales in a finals game for the first time in my life (well 68 years actually). Real edge of my seat stuff and actually had a tear or two following both goals. So so chuffed for the team.

Some of the coverage of the violence between Russian, English and French fans in the old port area of Marseille is shocking. Football Hooligans are utter cunts!

Llongyfarchiadau!
Man, that Slovakian team looks like a gang from a future dystopian society. What an ugly-looking bunch of humans.

Rooney isn't terrible in that role. But there also a good chance he gets a red card. He's basically a stronger Paul scholes.
Fuck off... He's a poor man's Paul Scholes perhaps.
He is t he passer scholes was. But he's a beer finisher. He is a box to box guy same as scholes. And the stronger part was purely from a physical standpoint. Not neccesarily technical. I liked both and also believe scholes was under appreciated. But Rooney is almost unquestionably overall better.

Rooney and Gascoigne are the most naturally gifted English players in my lifetime, Scholes is technically by far the best and Bryan Robson, the most influential.
When you consider all the great players Manchester United have had from 1990 onward, I would be happy to say that after Ronaldo (between 2005 - 2009), Scholes has been the best.
