I've talked about this, via phone, with a couple of life-sentence Swampers, trying to decide how we should move forward. And we didn't really come up with an answer.

I need your input on this. Really.

I propose a "you touched it last" policy. Sorry bout your luck there Scottie.

But seriously if there is anything that someone who knows nothing about network stuff but has a good feel for computers can do, let me know.

If there's a chance that earlier Swamps will be merged with this one, I'll go back to 'bapo!'

Fair. I was ambivalent about giving it up, so I appreciate the executive decision.

Meant to mention earlier that this Swamp works well on a Kindle Fire. I've only seen it in whatever the default setting is, not subsilver. And I haven't logged in and tried to type on it, but it at least looks good. Also, everybody here should go out and buy a Kindle Fire.

Thank you. Didn't even occur to me to check this on the Kindle we have. Thank you very much for that input.

The forum default style is "subsilver2". Maybe you're looking at "prosilver"? Also known as the "other blue one"?

Here's a bytheway stat for y'all. The number of Swampers (registered accounts, that is) using Maxthon, the Green theme, is 75. The number using subsilver2 is 54.

I'll probably regret asking this, but is there a quick way to embed a link in text? In one of the versions of the swamp I used to just copy and paste someone else's embedded link and paste in my link and text.

Edit: Now that I have A working computer and I'm relearning every other darn thing; could you please tell me how to resize an avatar? Last swamp you were kind enough to do it for me but as the saying goes: "give a man a fish, and a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while."
