You can only buy cases at the package stores. If you want a 6 pack, you have to buy it from a bar.

A'yut that's what I meant.
Liquor laws are generally idiotic and convoluted.
For instance, in Colorado you can give free tastings in a liquor store, but you have to remove empty bottles and glasses immediately after the tasting and they have to be disposed of in a locked area.
Also a liquor store can sell non-alcoholic beer and
Sink the Bismark but they can't sell 3.2 beer. That can only be purchased in grocery stores.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

It's also kind of weird to go out wearing a Steeler's hat, no? Unless you are looking to be identified, in which case, why not put on a headset over the hat?
I think I forgot to mention I ran into Rex Ryan at an Indian restaurant a month or two ago. It was dark, so I wasn't sure at first, but who else would wear shorts and Nike shower sandals to classy restaurant, then bust out this super expensive looking wine bag? The dissonance of it all gave it away. He was with his wife, who looked super school-marmy, but maybe that was their game for the night.

Indeed it is. The Jambulance has been the subject of scorn and humor for several years. One of the radio stations in Athens bought that ambulance years ago and converted it into a remote radio broadcast station. I doubt Bobby Pentz remembers, but it was there when he came to Athens for the OU-Wyoming football game a few years ago.

With Billy Joel's driving record, I'd hope the SPCA would consider taking that dog out of the sidecar.

LI guys, nothing they don't know about their Lord and Savior.
Everytime I've been out at a bar on LI (not that many times, but more than a few) there has been a bar wide singalong when Billy came on the jukebox.

No charge for that. Yet, even I know the billing code: Power, Healing (Christ-type) -- 37879
(only because it is right next to one I use nearly every day: Power, Healing (Laughter) -- 37880)

Let me just say "JESUS CHRIST" to that bill.
Here's another horror story - an elderly woman had been getting regular treatments in her doctor's office - treatments which the doctor billed out at $500 of which the woman ended up paying $111 after medicare and her insurance provider kicked in some money.
Doctor sold his practice to the local hospital, and now the same treatments in the same office are billed out at $19,000.
http://www.lohud.com/article/20130722/N ... ck_check=1
The article details other billing atrocities including...
One of her favorites includes $12 for a “mucous-recovery system” — also known as a tissue.
Classic stuff.

I happened to handle some bats yesterday. Browsing in a sporting goods store. I was shocked at the price of wood bats: ash ~$60, maple ~$120. This was full retail, an expensive Manhattan store (I needed weightlifter chalk and ping-pong balls) (Paragon Sports on B'way and 17th. Great store, overpriced.)
