Bought a couple of these pillows a while back. They are awesome - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V909F4M

They are filled with shredded memory foam, so they aren't rocks like some solid memory foam pillows. Don't get hot either.

I got a memory foam/cooling pillow about a month ago. I got stuck with a trip to BedBathBeyond shortly after realizing that if I slept with my head/neck in *just* the wrong position I would snore, and while meandering about the store looking for hangers I wandered into the pillow department. I've always been a thin pillow guy, so that $60 was a significant risk on my part. It took about a week or so for the chemical smell from the foam to either dissipate or burn away the receptors that noticed it, but I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

And based on a quick google search you apparently aren't allowed to play if you are younger than 85?

I never heard of it before last spring. Now I'm hooked.

And yes, it's quite popular with the geriatric set. I'm 45 and am one of the youngest players in our group. But it's quite humbling to play against some 60+ year-olds and get schooled.

And you learned it from my 68 year old mother who plays 2 hours three times a week. It is huge where she lives. They have national tournaments in Florida every year. They started an indoor league in the small town I live in.

So, I have to phone my insurance agent today. I always deal with the woman who works for him. Great name - Vicki Glasspole. And, she seems to come right out of a "B" detective movie. She is probably 60 years old, bleached blonde, fake tan, enormous breasts, chews gum and cracks wise. She was probably really hot 40 years ago, but faded glory now.

and

The subject line caught my attention, if nothing else.

A) I worked at Wegmans for 5 years, I've earned the right to call Shoprite mostly crap. Some are really nice, but most are crap.

B) Does the Big Beef Bonanza have a catchy jungle like the Can-Can sale? As a pre-teen, I found the Can Can cartoon dancers oddly provocative.

Shit

So there was a close call this morning involving my girls and a group of kids they were with. They were taking part in a running program at a track and soccer turf in town. A guy in a pickup in the parking lot hit the accelerator instead of the brake and ended up on the track, hit a guy who was running, and was headed towards the kids before he managed to slam the brakes. Most of the girls saw it happen, and with what happened in Vegas last weekend I think everyone's initial thought was this was a purposeful action. The driver was in shock, and the victim was injured but seemed like he would be OK. Kids and my wife came very shaken.

About 10 minutes ago my wife got a hysterical call from the wife of one of my co-workers. My friend's dad was at some sort of outdoor event last night, and was cleaning up after it ended when a woman in a car hit the accelerator instead of the brake and ran him down, killing him. I don't know exactly how old he was, must be close to 80, but was active and doing well. To die like that at that age just seems unfair.

Really not enjoying things. Been completely swamped for about 4 months now, with one researcher just RIDING MY ASS. I've been working on these experimental rigs where I
    a) never worked on them before
    b) there is ZERO documentation about how any of it works
    c) they are being used for regular production runs which means I can only get access late in the afternoons/evenings or on weekends
    d) to fully test the system, I have to run a stimulus run that lasts 100 minutes
    e) if there's a bug, the researcher will send an email to me about it, and CC it to her boss, her boss' boss, and my boss.

I've been thinking about quitting for about 6 weeks, and last night (after another issue cropped up) I just said "fuck this".

And I have to say that Leslie Jones is just about the worst cast member - who gets regular roles - that they have ever had. She stares at cue cards and can't deliver lines properly.
