Who knows? Maybe, you were kidnapped, tied up, taken away and held for ransom.

Re: The Dusty Thread
Seeing Dusty wrestle when I was a kid was actually one of the first things that clued me into the fact that WWF wasn't real. Similar to how it became impossible to suspend disbelief that Santa could visit every home in the world in one night, it was impossible to believe that a fat, middle-aged Dusty Rhodes could hang with young, muscle-bound studs in a wrestling ring.Keg wrote:

And I've been avoiding this thread because I didn't want to read heartbreaking stories.

Re: The Dusty Thread
I was listening to NPR the other day and they had a story about the country music song "I Drive Your Truck." Holy crap, I damn near had to pull over.

Jesus. Calm down, girl. You only jump into the catcher's arm when you complete the no-hitter.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

Re: The Dusty Thread
My buddy Dusty just Top 8'ed a Magic: The Gathering Pro Tour.
That's a big deal in the Nerd Land I sometimes inhabit.
ETA
Dammit. He lost in the finals. But he still took home $20,000 and an invite to Dublin for another Pro Tour. Pretty awesome.

In Dusty, no longer we Trusty.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

That dog is an interesting contrast to my dog who I'm pretty sure doesn't like living with other people and would probably let me just lay there if he didn't need food or to go outside at that moment.

Lane DeGregory will make you cry. Go read "The Girl in the Window", her coverage of Davion Young, "Mr. Newton", "Miss Teen America finds freedom", etc. She's an exceptional writer.
