I'm still not entirely convinced Sriracha isn't just ketchup with a few spices thrown in. I don't get the insistence that it has some unique, one-of-a-kind taste.
Totally. There's no way of saying this without sounding like a dick, but it strikes me as hot sauce for someone who wants to say they like hot sauce but doesn't really like hot sauce.
I'm not a guy that likes REALLY spicy stuff. So I actually think you are onto something with this and I would include Tabasco in this category... I use both a lot.
My issue with Sriracha is that it can very quickly overwhelm the dish you're putting it on. I like spicy foods, but I don't really get the appeal of stuff that makes me get all red in the face and sweaty. And makes my mouth burn. Like, I don't get that at all.

I just went and looked up scoville stuff and it makes sense.
Eminem dropped a new album out of the blue last night. And it seems like the only way to listen is via Spotify.
I vaguely remember downloading it but never using it -- especially since Amazon Prime comes with a very large music library.
So re-download it and go to a site hosting the playlist and...blah. I don't have premium so I can't just listen to it. I could only listen to it via an Eminem shuffle playlist and you can't skip tracks after so many.
So why is the app/service so popular? $10 a month seems like a good deal, but no thanks. I'll just wait until a hero uploads it to YouTube or something.

The time you see me making a heartfelt puppy post while waiting for my dinner order on the boardwalk remind me of the time the local Philly ABC station caught me devouring my souvlaki and the reporter and videographer were practically tripping over themselves with excitement over the shot.

The wife and I tried "Nashville hot chicken" while in N.C. this summer. Don't need to do that ever again.
I had some at a place near CSU. I went 4th got out of 6 and almost couldn't eat it. The biggest problem is that the piece of chicken was gigantic and the sauce they have you on the side was a not even full dressing to go container.

Y’all ain’t heard anything unless you’ve heard a pretty, drunk, French girl in a dress say “Im going to piss like a man in your garden.”
Makes me want to go rewatch the entire Before trilogy. The scene at the end of the Sunrise (I think?) where she talks about Nina Simone then sings him the waltz kills me every time.

Young superstar Mitakeumi won the last one. This time, Hakuho - perhaps the greatest Yokozuna of all time - is back and healthy. Any one of 6 or 7 guys can win.
It is a bizarre and oddly addicting thing to watch.

Just looked it up. Seems a bit of a cheat to get PGT for one piece of work.
Makes it more impressive in my eyes.

Last week while getting ice cream at a very good place that has very long lines that would make a quick fix impossible, both of my kids (approx 3 minutes apart) dropped theirs and both times it landed perfectly upright on the ground and fine to eat.

Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.
One of the best things about having an Amazon distribution center in your town is selecting no rush shipping for digital credits and getting it next day anyway.

What's the over/under on the notion the Dallas police planted a bag of marijuana in Botham Jean's apartment in an effort to begin to match a narrative of a justified shoot for Amanda Guyger?

The notion that his life wasn't worthwhile because he was a "criminal," so the cops shouldn't be held accountable makes me sick. Same shit with Michael Brown, saying he shoplifted earlier in the day makes it OK for the police to kill him, even if the officer didn't know he stole. So people are OK with the police breaking into the wrong person's apartment and killing them so long as we find out later they committed a petty crime? "Well if you don't want the police to kill you, don't commit a crime!" How far are these people willing to go? When they get killed by a cop, I hope the police later reveal they watched Netflix on their friend's account, so nobody cares that they were killed.

I know we have to let it all play out and you don't want to jump to any conclusions, but it's really fucking hard to avoid confirmation biases as news gets out that they found marijuana during a search of his apartment. Of course it was leaked. Of course they used the fact they had obtained a warrant. So that the press release reads a warranted search led to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

You wouldn't get better than 1/100 odds against that.
And has there been any indication as to what substances were in the cop's blood stream at the time she entered the wrong apartment and didn;t even realize it was not her place?

That's a good question. Witnesses say the altercation occurred at the front door. That the door wasn't ajar. She was banging on the door demanding entrance to an apartment that wasn't hers. Frankly, it sounds like she could go with an Ambien defense. But either way, it's important for the police to release evidence of drugs in the dead man's apartment first. You know...Narrative and all that.
A drug that’s completely legal in 20 percent of the country and mostly legal in about 60 percent of it. I doubt they planted it unless they’re really stupid. Planting coke or heroin or something would have been smarter. No one other than “Blue Lives Matter” racists and scum who wouldn’t care if he had weed or not since he was black cares that they found weed.
