So, I got that loud noise but when I looked at my phone a minute later there was no alert or message. Did I miss something?

I'd love to know how that went down. Is she recording it to get all those direct quotes? The narcissism makes the mind reel.

Jesus God Almighty!
I just watched footage of Kanye West in the Oval office, and Trump is by far, the second biggest idiot in the room.
What the hell was that?

MAGAheads are slobbering all over Kanye, huh? Let me guess. None of them said stick to music and making shoes.
These distractions are ridiculous.

And Jim Brown was there too!?! Oy vey.

Re: The Indictment Thread (Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part II)
The Kanye stuff honestly makes me a little sad. He’s become a total sideshow so often lately that’s it’s gotten hard to remember what a great artist he was. (I’d put his first 5 or 6 albums up against any of his hip hip contemporaries.) You could always tell from his lyrics that he had some inner conflicts but he seems to have totally lost any sense of self-awareness or balance.

I doubt there'd be much fighting involved. Can anyone imagine Trump actually taking part in a scuffle?

Re: The Indictment Thread (Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part II)
So I read through the judge's opinion throwing out the defamation claim.
It's pretty disputable. The judge ruled that Trump's tweet couldn't be defamatory. Even though the tweet clearly did accuse Stormy Daniels of lying about being threatened to keep quiet about her affair with Trump, and of running a con, the judge ruled that the tweet was "rhetorical hyperbole" that is common in US politics.
I dunno. Maybe false accusations of lying have become common in US politics because courts won't enforce longstanding principles of defamation law to rein them in.
Anwyay, if I were Avenatti, I would appeal. No reason not to.

So in other words, Trump will be claiming the Judge ruled that everything Trump said was completely true.Steve of phpBB wrote: ↑Tue Oct 16, 2018 4:30 pm So I read through the judge's opinion throwing out the defamation claim.

I know that Mueller is observing the election dead period precedent, but it still unsettles me that it’s been such radio silence. If the democrats really do take the house, and then he drops some bombshells after, I think it will make some of the rhetoric from trump and his lackeys even worse.

Next thing you know Vox will claim Kavanaugh wasn’t actually about presumption of innocence and due process.

I think if anything that article glosses over the what should be the obvious point that sexism was more to blame than racism amongst voters who switched from Obama to Trump.Nonlinear FC wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 9:39 am As some folks have been saying, I think people kind of over analyzed 2016.

Re: The Indictment Thread (Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part II)
Or you can just use video of Trump saying it. More compelling. It blows my mind every time when he denies something, but he has admitted to the exact thing he is denying during a live, televised rally.
In looking for this clip, I found an interesting article from 2016 saying Trump opened 8 corporations in Saudi Arabia shortly after entering the Presidential race. How the fuck do we allow a Presidential candidate to open new corps in a foreign country? Especially one that is such a geopolitical clusterfuck? He admits he likes those that d business with him, so how can anyone say he isn't influenced by his personal businesses? How the fuck did he get away with not putting his businesses in a blind trust?
