Bundesliga - Spring 2020 (post???) CV19 restart
Because there's little else to watch and because if this flames out it's going to fork the plans of a lot of other leagues.

Definitely on Team Dortmund, in spite of their terrible colors.

Same. Black and yellow til I die. I bought a Chinese BVB Pulisic jersey a couple years ago. Time to get it out.

Re: Bundesliga - Spring 2020 (post???) CV19 restart
Plan on wearing my black Pulisic jersey tomorrow. I haven't followed them much this year since Pulisic left, really just occasionally looking at the table, until Reyna joined. Always the most exciting team to watch, and Haaland is a freak of nature. Excited to watch, especially of Weston McKennie is playing.govmentchedda wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 8:23 am Same. Degen, that chart is fantastic. And I landed on Dortmund!

I chose Monchengladbach because of some hazy memories of watching them on a weekly Bundesliga wrap up show that was the only European soccer on TV here when I was a teenager. The Sybian wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 11:11 am Degen, that chart is fantastic. And I landed on Dortmund!
And lo and behold, the chart says I made the right choice. And with their glory years being decades ago, they fit in with the teams I legitimately support.
(Except the World Champion Raptors of course)

Hilarious that they don't even list Leipzig on there.

The straight line to Bayern Munich is tremendous. They should also have a question of "Do you have an unnatural attraction to bratwurst" with the yes answer going straight to Bayern Munich, too.

Re: Bundesliga - Spring 2020 (post???) CV19 restart
Gio's great but Weston from Wappingers is no slouch and worth watching on a weekly basis (Schalke 04). Plus Schalke is coached by kinda American David Wagner

Re: Bundesliga - Spring 2020 (post???) CV19 restart
Tyler Adams is from Wappingers, Weston is from Little Elm, TX. But both of them are worth watching on a weekly basis, when Adams isn't injured. 2 tough, smart, hardworking midfielders who can play box to box. We have so many young players with potential to be real quality. I just hope the USMNT can get it together.

"Do you want a logo that looks like it says 'Fuck'?" would be a good selling point for Kaiserslautern.

Does somebody have a link to a site where we can match all the teams and their logos? I’d like match it up with degenerasian’s chart.

Reyna not starting. Teams came out separately, Schalke came out wearing masks. Unless it’s just my cable box it sounds like the remote color commentary is super muffled.

Are they piping in noise? Audio was really weird and I wasn’t finding anyone else bitching on twitter specifically about what I was experiencing. PbP was super clear, but everything else was shit.

Re: Bundesliga - Spring 2020 (post???) CV19 restart
It might be amplified sideline noise (which seems risky) or a combination of sideline and canned?

That Dortmund is pretty, pretty good.
Just watched two games. Took 45 minutes to get used to the weird environment.

At first, I thought the lack of a studio show was a minus, then I remembered it would have been Fox.

Wish I spoke German. Can really hear the players/coaches voices in the Bayern match. Pretty cool. You could learn something about how the pros communicate. Think the commentators are talking less to let us listen in.
