This is tough because only one of these two contestants just delivered beer to my house. Do I need to somehow disregard that?

Cerrano didn't do himself any favors with his song choices. So many deep cuts, and Everlong.

J-Lo in a walk. That's the Yankees showing up to a high school game. And I like Cerrano's list!

how can anybody compete with jerloma's list. 97 was a brutal year for music. i am the second and probably final vote for my list.

Finally got a playlist with multiple songs I never want to hear again.

Cerrano gets knocked down, but he gets up again. 'Cause you're never gonna keep him down.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.
Re: Yet Another Dumb Way to Pass Time - Cerrano (1997) vs Jerloma (1973)
Yeah, Cerrano's list is like one of those albums with one or two really strong songs and then they record a bunch of filler to knock it out. Jerloma's list is weathered of course, but just loaded.
Totally Kafkaesque
Re: Yet Another Dumb Way to Pass Time - Cerrano (1997) vs Jerloma (1973)
I could go the rest of my life without hearing 2-5 on J-Lo's list again and be just fine with that.

(And the first one may have been a pity/protest vote.)

I love classic rock, but I agree with Giff on this one.

There are only two or three songs on J-Lo’s list that I wouldn’t turn off right away.

Re: Yet Another Dumb Way to Pass Time - Cerrano (1997) vs Jerloma (1973)
I’ve had several people work with me to get me into classic rock and I 100% don’t get it. I think there’s something where if you’re around my age and grew up on Metallica or GnR you later backtracked to Zepplin and whoever else but none of those have ever worked for me.

If he comes again, can you tell him to make his hockey 3rd round fantasy pick?

Re: Yet Another Dumb Way to Pass Time - Cerrano (1997) vs Jerloma (1973)
And I'm sorry, but Dream On is still a fucking mind-blowing tune. It's got that stigma (Stairway) about it, but holy shit, just throw it on and turn it to 11. That shit takes you places.

"Dream On" has been part of more shows that I have worked on than any other. Steaming pile of garbage every fucking time.

It's the sort of song that 14 year olds love.
Not an Aerosmith fan at all.

On the other hand, its still Aerosmith's best song. Take that as you will.

I think the opening 90 seconds or so of "Back In The Saddle Again" are pretty good.

Probably will be the hardest Swamp draft ever. So many choices.

There are several Aerosmith songs I like. I refuse to call them guilty pleasures, but I rock the fuck out at Sweet Emotion and Livin' on the Edge. The former was the first song on our warmup tape senior year of basketball. Running out when he first sings the title lyrics was well-received, especially since Dazed and Confused was probably the most popular movie that year.

You misspelled 55.
I’m not an Aerosmith fan at all. But that song alone wins the competition for me.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Agree. The problem with Dream On is that it has been played to death. I still love an old Aerosmith rocker like Draw the Line or Chip Away at the Stone.

Dream On is so bad, it killed this entire tournament.

Didn't Jerloma kill the album draft also? Impressive.
Re: Yet Another Dumb Way to Pass Time - Cerrano (1997) vs Jerloma (1973)
These things work better if I don't handle the day to day maintenance. J-Lo moves on, Ryan 2.0 is now up against PDX. Still waiting on Romero and I can't remember if the flip-year crew got in or not. I'll check.
