I'm sure they'll all abide by the laws concerning candidates' representatives and campaigning in regards to the polling places as well.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

It doesn't seem legal to sign up as a poll worker on behalf of defending a specific candidate, but I don't know anything about the laws here. I'm very tempted to sign up and sit in on the training to understand what tactics they are employing and keep an eye of the people that volunteer, but I can't imagine sitting in a room with a bunch of people willing to volunteer for the "Army for Trump."

I dont think it is to become a poll worker. They are recruiting volunteers to get the vote out. Knock on doors, drive registered voters to the station, check off voter lists etc... I think this is common at local levels. The Sybian wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:15 am It doesn't seem legal to sign up as a poll worker on behalf of defending a specific candidate, but I don't know anything about the laws here. It's both getting out the vote, and working at polling places and ensuring voter fraud isn't occurring. Maybe they steer volunteers to get a job at a polling place, but they can't directly place people. Then again, they can't give Convention speeches at the WH, have the Sec State give a Convention speech, televise a naturalization ceremony and pardon for the Convention or use campaign donations to pay off porn stars so they don't talk about banging the candidate while his wife was 8 months pregnant, so why not staff the polls with partisan chicanery? Oh, the President is asking supporters to vote twice, so this is nothing!degenerasian wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:30 amI dont think it is to become a poll worker. If that's the case, it would make sense for Biden supporters/Dems to infiltrate them by signing up, getting the voter roll list to knock on doors, and then not do it. I would consider doing that myself, but I'm planning on driving old black ladies in West and North Philly to the polls on Election Day. Especially since it looks like they're going to make Lincoln Financial Field a polling station (although physically located it's in South Philly, a more predominantly white area).degenerasian wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:30 amI dont think it is to become a poll worker. So speaking of infiltrating, I received back some info from the Southeastern PA Republicans group I was talking about a few weeks back. One group is the Adorable Deplorables of PA (which I have to admit is funny). Anyway, they have a rally on Friday 9/18 for all the groups. Unfortunately, it's a $50 fundraiser, so I feel I'd have to at least double my donations to the DNC to counteract that. But I'm still tempted to go and be a mole.

That is interesting, it would depend on the state. I guess you join team Trump and they can get you to apply for a job. I mean you could apply directly now. So this ad is just marketing and fearmongering to recruit volunteers. The Sybian wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:51 amIt's both getting out the vote, and working at polling places and ensuring voter fraud isn't occurring. Also I would imagine each poll station has a manager. You could spot fake IDs or whatever but the manager makes the final call. Like I said, we have Elections Canada so all the rules are set.

I think “poll watcher” means “try to intimidate minorities.” Didn’t the RNC just get released from a 30-year injunction against doing shit like this?
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

There’s no way I could do that without blowing my cover in the first ten minutes. My eye-rolling would give me away.L-Jam3 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 8:56 amIf that's the case, it would make sense for Biden supporters/Dems to infiltrate them by signing up, getting the voter roll list to knock on doors, and then not do it. In any other circumstance I’d think that was really great. But no way with these guys. What is the unsilver lining of this recognition?

Well darn. I think esteemed journalists from all different facets of media are totally wrong now.
And actually, Nikki Haley, fuck you. Should've used #dependa as the hashtag since you're acting like one.

Honestly, if she is serious about running she should be distancing herself from Trump. She probably already lost Military support with this tweet.

The guy who organized the Trumptilla around here a few weeks back was arrested last week for threatening people.

Some of those pictures and videos looked pretty intense. Were they all wearing life vests?

Gosh I hope so. I’ve been thinking and praying most of the day.

I knew more was coming, wish they waited a week to push due to the Military comments, but this can't be good either

Hey! I agree with the Fat Orange Man on something. Props to Trump for being the first Atheist president even if he's too chicken shit to admit it.
