I bet with a lot of these unfamiliar RPs who throw 97+ and have something that breaks, the hitters are forced to guess.

Fair. But I also think you can’t throw away the idea that some of them are sitting on a pitch and if it isn’t what they see they don’t have confidence to swing. Which sucks because even if you don’t make great contact a ball in play has more outcomes than staring at a strike.

Two straight batter not swinging with two strikes. It’s a thing.

I think it’s a fair thing to wonder about. MVPs shouldn’t be taking close with two strikes.

It’s fucked up. My wife has noticed too. Now she is actually a good baseball watcher so that isn’t really any indication of out of the ordinary but it’s been the whole postseason. And we have watched a lot of it.

And that betts take was without a doubt in the strike zone. Not even on a corner in any way.

Yeah I was like no way he legit tagged. It wasn’t billy Hamilton there. That was a clear call. But why didn’t the third base umpire just say so? It wasn’t close.

Fox picks a lot of Dead and Phish for commercial breaks. I sort of recall seeing an article on the guy on Jambase or something a few years ago.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

So Atlanta gets fewer people in bars for the next 7-10 days, and America gets fewer Sun Belt eyeballs on Trump commercials. I wouldn’t exactly call that “losing.” This has been another edition of My Two Cents.

I don't necessarily love Tampa here, but if its +160/-200, I'd be all over them.

So that was a bad take too. But I really think Dave Roberts should not go with Kershaw for Game 2.

50 runs scored in the postseason with two outs for dodgers. That’s nuts.

Not a Dodgers fan, but Buehler has been my favorite player to watch in all of MLB over the last few years. This curve to K Arozarena to end the 6th is NSFW.
