Golf is basically a parable for a rich person's lifestyle. The access. The exclusivity. The pompous jackassery. I've always hated it. Fuck golf.

My thoughts about golf waffle a lot. In many ways, it's like you wrote, but it doesn't have to be, and isn't always.

Weren't there recent rumors that Cutler was dating Tomi Lehren?DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 12:15 pm In a similarly unsurprising vein, Jay Cutler has also endorsed Trump.

Don't act like a large number of the "non-country club" people aren't chasing that part.

I didn't say they aren't or that everyone who plays on them is chasing the life. But, there is a muni split by the state route we have to drive on to reach the not-as-small suburbs, shopping, etc. Used to go through that course twice on each trip to our kids' day care. Lots of people out there not in t-shirts and shorts.govmentchedda wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 3:33 pmYeah, munis are much more egalitarian than country clubs.Pruitt wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 3:32 pmYeah, yeah.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 3:30 pmDon't act like a large number of the "non-country club" people aren't chasing that part.

It's been nearly 10 years since I've played, (thanks, kids!), but I'm not rolling up like Favreau and Livingston in Swingers. I'll throw on a polo.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 3:40 pmI didn't say they aren't or that everyone who plays on them is chasing the life. The good golf courses are the ones country clubbers wouldn't even consider playing. #vassargolfcourse

Re: Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part V - All Hail King Donald, First of his name
I was hoping Joe Biden would make a snarky comment about Trump's kids during their debates. But I guess it's better that he didn't.
Even something like low hanging like "I love my sons. What's your excuse?" would've been hysterical.

The thing is, you know he wanted to.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Just wondering....if Trump loses (please please baby jebus)...how long before Kimberly Guilfoyle dumps Don Jr?
Re: Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part V - All Hail King Donald, First of his name
I think Junior enters rehab and immediately falls under the surrogacy of one Tim Tebow for a run at POTUS to fuck all our timelines up forevermore.DaveInSeattle wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:46 pm Just wondering....if Trump loses (please please baby jebus)...how long before Kimberly Guilfoyle dumps Don Jr?

Hes still a contender for the Repub nomination in 2024. Unless he crashes and burns or she finds a better meal ticket to keep her in the public eye, she’s not leaving.DaveInSeattle wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 8:46 pm Just wondering....if Trump loses (please please baby jebus)...how long before Kimberly Guilfoyle dumps Don Jr?
Its more likely that Melania and the orange man-baby break up.

absolute fake. It's insane that people think the kissing thing wasn't involving a fake.
Re: Trump Admin Meltdown Thread Part V - All Hail King Donald, First of his name
If Trump loses - especially if he's blown out - there's no way that Don Jr's political career isn't over. People only like him because of his connection to his dad. And I think a majority of Republicans are anxious to turn on Trump once it's apparent that he's no longer super popular and in charge of things. In 6 months, it'll be hard to find any politician who'll admit they were a Trump supporter (despite video evidence).
