Also, if this falls away, the first person here who tells me we need to trust the establishment and rally for Pelosi over Don Jr. will get stabbed.

Hickenlooper flips a senate seat.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

There's really no big picture good news out there, is there.
Re: Election Day 2020
This belongs in another thread, really, but whatever. I haven't really talked about this with many people but I quit drinking almost 4 months ago. It was becoming a problem, more mentally than physically, but still a problem. Tonight is the first night in a while I've wanted to have a drink so bad. So... I'm stress eating leftover Halloween candy instead.
Brian, I'm more than a little jealous of you right now.

Re: Election Day 2020
As far as good news, Biden running pretty well in OH bodes well for WI/MI/PA.

Yeah sorry. Just came back to say actually winning arizona may be enough, actually. 2/3 would be best of course.tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 9:49 pmIs arizona gone?A_B wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 9:48 pmIts pennsylvania ohio at this point.tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 9:46 pm There's really no big picture good news out there, is there.

New Jersey has legalized marijuana! (This is an AP call.)
It becomes the 12th state to do so. And maybe not the last tonight: this is on the ballot in three other states.

I mean it looks like most of the PA vote is from the Pennsyltucky counties. Like 100,000 in from Allegheny. Who knows.

Its low vote totals from what i see but a huge gap. Not at all in line with polls.

I want to move to a country where I don't have to wonder about integrity of votes cast. Living here has made me paranoid.

Re: Election Day 2020
Will it take that long? The playbook was how it is unfolding. Get ahead, declare victory, move to not count votes, head for supreme court. He may not even need to do that. I was desperately hopeful that NC would flip and end this by clearing a path. Somehow the votes just keep slipping. For whatever reason. The plausible one forwarded by JoeK, D and others, maybe. The one that I wonder about - which is are these really the votes - gamed instead on the margins to make this possible. Maybe less plausible. But I can't discount it. Or...that this is now a nation is white supremacisists and the brown shirt era has arrived. I fear that one most likely. Which means no dem nominee could have won.

Fucking Lindsey Graham won.
