However, for this one, ANYONE can play, so long as they submit answers to me by Monday at 1 pm EST. You heard me, devilfluff. Anyone who plays this one will be considered alternates for the Swampcrash Basketball Invitational, whenever I have time to get that together.

RULES for the uninitiated: NO GOOGLING or cheating or looking up anything. This is off the top of the dome, peeps. You will get a point for every other player who shares a correct answer of yours, with the lowest score being the goal. Incorrect answers give the highest correct score + 5 points. Pick one answer for each quesstion.

Rules for everyone: Email me your answers at lay-on-the-ice @ gmail, no dashes. Please use the word Swampcrash at some point in the message so I can sort later. I reserve the right to fuck something up, just let me know if I do and I'll sort it out. Also include your Swamp name in the subject line, please.

6. Of the United States' top 50 largest cities*, name one of the top ten in annual precipitation. (10)
*Top 50 by population of the metro area (51 US metro areas have populations over 1,000,000 - 51 is Rochester, NY). Name the anchor city.

Remember, this is not by days of precip, by annual precipitation in inches. Rochester is not a correct answer, but surprisingly they actually lead the US in days of rain/snow.

7. Name a country represented in the semi-finals of the 2008 Olympic 100 meter dash in Beijing. (11)

8. Name a current OPEC member country. (12)

9. In 1992, Duke defeated the "Fab 5" Michigan Wolverines for the NCAA National Basketball Championship. Name a starter in that game from either team. (10)

10. Again according to Forbes, name one of the top ten American companies in total 2013 revenues (NOT total profit). (10)

The Jordans are fun to do. But at least in my case, I find that too often others are following the same path. If I was doing this for money, I'd try harder to avoid them.

Didn't do too well. It is better to give the Jordan answer you know than guess at the great answer and find out you were wrong. In checking my answers after submitting them, I have cause now to remember that.
