Back at the hospital for a scheduled "stress test." I walked and then speed walked on a treadmill with monitors hooked up.
Heart rate was good, respiration was good, blood pressure was a bit high. No big deal - beta blockers added to my prescriptions, but that is completely normal. Cardiologist is pleased with things.
I am on such a natural high at the moment. (which will have to do as edibles not a good idea for a while...)

Good to hear Pruitt!
and really want Pruitt & Max to show up at the post-pandemic Las Vegas Swamp blowout. They'd have a secret handshake tout suite.

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Re: Well, That Sucked
So, the morning after they put stents in the almost totally blocked artery, they told me that they wanted to stent the LAD (aka "The WIDOWMAKER!") artery as it was 60% blocked.
When I was discharged two days later, the attending cardiologist said that the statins should "melt" the plaque out of that artery and that there wasn't a need for any more stenting.
Well, I am scheduled for an angioplasty on the 8th. The doctor who did the procedure thinks it's advisable to get it cleaned up now. My G.P. agrees. After doing some reading, I do too. Recovery will be short - golf will have to wait until the end of June, but why carry plaque when there are meshy balloons that can take care of it?
And the Euros start a couple of days later - there would be worse times to be stuck on a couch.

Things are progressing well with my cardio rehab, but they introduced weights and resistance training to our workouts today and it was pretty depressing.
Heart attack aside, it has been 18 months since I was in a gym, but holy crap I felt like a 98 pound weakling today.

And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

I'm optimistic and happy... just a bit weaker than I had hoped.
