In his book, Keith Richards talks about meeting Don Everly when the Stones were just getting started, and learning a tuning pattern (Open G) from him, which he then started to use all the time. Richards says that's why Stones cover bands never sound right...they aren't tuned to the right key.Reaper wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 10:19 am Don Everly, Walking Right Back, to join his brother Phil in the great beyond.

Someone made a look out wahlburg joke when biz and Markie Post died within a couple of weeks of each other, but now collaborators and/or those honored with name drops by the beastie boys need to look out, too.

Worth noting that in reading his obit I learned Uzo Aduba matched this feat recently. Asner also won more Emmys than any other man in history. (In fact three of the four most honored actors in Emmy history all worked on the Mary Tyler Moore show — Ed Asner, Cloris Leachman and Mary Tyler Moore. The fourth is Julia Louis-Dreyfus.)

I feel like I've seen him in a bunch of things recently. Just looked at his IMDB, and he has 407 acting credits on his page! Well over half are after 1995. It seems like a lot of voice work and small roles on sitcom episodes. I never saw Up, but that was a very high profile gig in 2009. Also, your wife must not make you watch Hallmark movies, because he is in a bunch of them.

Jean-Paul Belmondo
He was compared to Marlon Brando and James Dean for his acclaimed portrayals of tough, alienated characters, most memorably in Jean-Luc Godard’s “Breathless.” The idolized youthful personification of it in the French New Wave.
