Perhaps I can pivot my persona here to "very specific pervert".

I saw her in person once, and she was jaw droppingly stunning. Granted she was dolled up for an awards show, but she stood out more than any of the other models/actresses I saw. She was also surprisingly tiny.

In case someone didn't believe me that she is gorgeous, I found pics of her from the event:

His deleted Instagram apology convinced me he did not intend the gesture of peeling and eating a banana as racist.
"I wish to specific my public apology to Jalen Smerak,” Deniski captioned the submit. Throughout the “Kremenchuk” – “Donbass” match, I, being in destructive feelings, confirmed gestures that somebody may contemplate as an insult to the race. I respect all folks no matter their race or nationality. Sadly, feelings are totally different in hockey."

Wasn't exactly sure what thread to post this in, but racism is over down here. Black man fires 72 shots, many at law enforcement, and is apprehended not killed by the sheriffs.
Until everything is less insane, I'm mixing weed with wine.
Not in the sense of quoting a racist, or singing along to a rap song, or reading To Kill A Mockingbird, or even debating whether it was acceptable to use the N-word. In the sense of calling a Black woman a racial slur.
In reaction to a New York Post story, "MSNBC’s Joy Reid: Conservatives would trade tax cuts to ‘openly say the N-word,'" Gab user Lesley Anne Haskell declared that Reid was "the true definition of the word" and then explicitly typed out the slur.
Gab is a social media platform launched as a less restrictive alternative to Facebook and Twitter. And Haskell appeared to relish that, posting an image proclaiming that on Gab it was "perfectly OK and legal" to use racial slurs for Black people, Chinese people, White people, Hispanic people, Jewish people, and gay people, and if people didn't like it, they "aren't ready for free speech" and shouldn't "try to change how we do things."
Gab has quickly become a pit of misogyny, antisemitism, and White nationalism.
Indeed, on multiple occasions on Gab, Haskell describes herself as a "proud White nationalist," though takes pains to insist she is not a "White supremacist."
I'm sure the overwhelming majority of GOP will vote no to anyone Biden nominates, even if it was a white guy who idolizes Scalia and promised to overturn Roe, but I don't like the way Biden declared he is only looking at black women. It diminishes the nomination for whomever he selects, because it just feels like an affirmative action selection now. We are overdue for a black woman on the bench, and it sounds like he has several well-qualified black women to choose from, but there was no need to declare he is only looking at black women. Just select a black woman without saying it. Realistically, you can't say he is potentially overlooking "better qualified" candidates because of race and gender, because you are either qualified or not, and anything else is quibbling over subjective preferences.

If I remember correctly, Biden said he was going to select a black woman during the South Carolina primary to make sure Rep Clyburn supported him. And he's going to keep that promise.
And Reagan promised to select a woman (which he did) and Trump did as well.
I agree. He could just nominate one without declaring and still keep his promise. The Democrats seem to get tied up in big gesture actions or policies.

Totally agree. He de facto makes any selection, even if it's the greatest nominee in the history of the court, look like an affirmative action case. It's not fair to whoever it ends up being. I get that he made his promise some time ago, but like that ever mattered to a politician before. He should have just said he'll nominate the best possible candidate to make the best possible court and THEN picked a black woman. He'd get all the same credit.
Watching LIV golf tournament. The analyst's name is Jerry Foltz and he says "Oh the funniest way my name has ever been pronounced is by Michelle Wie and her family. As you know to the Asians, their L's are R's and their R's are L's, so Michelle Wie and her family call me Jelly Farts."
Well, alright.

They lost on livestreams today to a watermelon British people think may last longer than Truss.
Is that true?
Hilarious.
LIV golf is available on DAZN up here, but it's usually listed after the darts and snooker.
It's on the YouTubes.

The letter, with no name attached to it, did not cite which law the course violated or what in the curriculum was objectionable. The department did not respond to questions asking for more details.

If you thought his name sounds weird, check the full article. Top tier dork.
Hadn't read the article before... He was charged with trying to bring 15 kilos of fentanyl across the border from Mexico. Customs found the drugs in a secret compartment of his car. He said he was paid $215. So if fentanyl the size of a grain of rice can kill like 10 people, how many people could OD on 15 kilos? And he risked getting caught for $215? More strange, if he was caught with that much fentanyl, why was he released? Maybe fentanyl in pill form is much less potent, but 15 kilos sounds like an awful lot.

And that it's illegal immigrants bringing in fentanyl, not Republican MAGA fanboys.

It's not clear to me from that video if it's actually a town park or a park built by that neighborhood. If the latter, it might be private property intended only for residents. Still doesn't justify four police cars.
