I thoroughly enjoyed, occasionally masochistically, the recent Dynasties of Heartbreak series on Football Outsiders.

Surprised there hasn't been a Watson suspension dump today.

Man, the Rockets and Texans look like they did pretty damn well for themselves draft pick wise!

Is there any danger for the Texans of being stripped of a pick due to the team's actions in helping Watson with his behaviour?

The Bears' general manager fired the team's director of player engagement... who had been on the search committee for finding the new GM and coach at the start of this offseason. He was fired while on vacation.

Seems great.

Keep Pounding! Let's go!

ETA: I recognize 10 names on the roster. Three are QBs. One is a punter. Two others went to UK. Seems like a resonable level of player knowledge for a Ex-Browns fan.

Pretty shitty, but BRCC has owners now:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/silverbo ... 00804.html

I've noticed on base that the default coffee at places like the community center and Shoppette (fancy name for convenience store) is BRCC.

Evan Hafer actually donated money in 2008 to Barack Obama. But he's been Republican-focused ever since.

https://www.opensecrets.org/donor-looku ... Evan+hafer

Any mention of BRCC will always have me share his AMA from a while back when he got ripped by veterans. Especially his wise crack about hiring "10,000 veterans" after Starbucks said they'd hire "10,000 immigrants."

This coffee company got famous because Mat Best went viral on YouTube and went halfsies with Hafer. They continued with their Drinkin' Bros podcast to market everything.

I was far too into the vetbro game circa 2014/5. Then they all because bootlickers for Tr*mp and I was out.

Baker Mayfield is a Panther, for just a fifth rounder (that could become a fourth).

I get the Browns had no leverage but I’m still a little amazed Mayfield couldn’t fetch a second or third.

I’m still amazed Philly somehow got a conditional 1st for a guy they were going to cut, from a supposedly smart front office in Indy.

It really seems like the Browns played themselves out of a much higher pick.

I thought Seattle was interested in Mayfield, too. If so, it was an awfully low-stakes bidding “war”.

I don't think it's two-tone, just in shadow for some reason. The fifth(?) picture shows the nameplate on the back with the same orange above it.

Kind of funny (or sad) that Watson gets 6 games for sexual misconduct of 20+ women, meanwhile Calvin Ridley got a 1 year suspension for a $1500 parlay bet.
