New season on xmas
Are 6 30 minute episodes really a full season? This is some BBC crap. I mean I get covid impacts to shooting an what not, but 6 episodes.
Season 11 is renewed and already being shot. And the setup for The Shorsey Show spinoff.
Every season has been 6 or 7…seems odd to complain 10 seasons in. Season 11 has already been shot…they did 10 & 11 together. Shoresy is being shot now or recently wrapped.
I was late to the party. So seasons 1-8 were not a break. 9 was watched last year over a bad trip to see innlaws.
6 is just a really small number for a 30 minute comedy.

So Shoresy is just Wayne not squinting, missing a tooth and his flannel...got it....Okay I am in for the spinoff.
I'm apprehensive. Shoresy is ok in small bursts, but I don't know if I can take full 30 minutes...and if he's going to have the same voice throughout (did notice it was lower in the set up the spin-off episode of Letterkenny.
as an aside sucks I have a ticket to Letterkenny Live that they moved because of COVID to right in the middle of my kid's Spring Break when I'll be nowhere near Denver to enjoy it :(

Based on how quickly they sold out in DC and the secondary prices I saw...I figure you are not in a bad spot.

I remember seeing commercials for Benders when it came out. I wanted to see it but forgot about it until now.

Shoresy is by far the worst character in Letterkenny and I will absolutely watch the spinoff.
Watched the first two episodes last night. It was pretty good.
and love that they recruit players to the hockey team by telling them about the unbelievable amount of hot women that live in and around Sudbury.
Take from an Ontarian, that is pure science fiction. Once you get north of Huntsville, you understand why so many northern men spend so much time in huts ice fishing.

Ya my past boss (sniff, he retired back to Saskatoon) is from Sudbury, he always had a good laugh over the amount of hotness.
Can't imagine anyone choosing to retire to Saskatoon.
It's a working retirement (working for USask) and his kids are there, but ya. He was in the Canadian Navy for 25 years so maybe he wants to get as far from the ocean as possible.

Local brewery had Letterkenny trivia last night. Decided to give it a shot and ended up winning...52.5 correct out of 55.
75% of the participants were women which I found interesting.
Were they all incredibly hot?

A decent % of them. Not as hot as the women of Sudbury though...

Whoever is in charge of casting and costumes does a phenomenal job on that show. Most of the female characters on that show have an incredible sexiness beyond just their good looks.

Just finished season 2. I love Letterkenny, but I feel it's just great set pieces that have some story behind it, Shoresy is fucking great. It's Bad News Bearish in that you know they'll be successful, but the story is fantastic and they play homage to tropes and the smart humour of Letterkenny is there. Plus there are an unreasonable number of hot-looking women in Sudbury.
I was just thinking earlier this morning "I wonder when they will announce the new season of Letterkenny".
Probably good that it is the last season...last couple have not been as good as their peak. I think Shoresy is better...maybe we can get some more character crossover.

Setting it during the summer helped change things up a bit...I like the Shorsey/Laura Mohr storyline; the mentorship stuff and the kangaroo court were hilarious.
