It doesn't help that I watched Final Account last night, which interviews former members of the SS and concentration camp guards (along with ordinary citizens) about the Nazi "phenomenon" before and during WW2. I'm not going to go into detail, as I assume you guys know the history. But the way society and regular people were either pulled into or straight up coerced into doing evil was chilling.

That bill is straight out of the Nazi playbook... literally.

and as an aside it's horrific how often i've been honestly and quite sincerely wishing death upon people these last 5 years (disclaimer: i mean *i'm not advocating it* ... just.... hoping for natural selection.). i'll admit to my being completely fkd up but at the same time i perversely stand by it. compromise is and always was a myth.

There's no reason to feel guilty; simply look at it as the cost of doing business.
