It's restoring my faith in hockey.
And as you mentioned previously, the Maple Leafs certainly belong on any list of worst franchises in sports history (modern edition).
Since winning the Cup in 1967, the Leafs have made it to the finals a grand total of Zero times. Three trips to the semi-finals is as good as it's gotten for the richest team in the sport.

Mister D's list of the worst teams in professional sports ...
4. Detroit Pistons: More like "Piss Tons", amiright? Worst basketball franchise, 4th worst franchise overall.
3. Detroit Lions: Wasted Barry Sanders career.
2. Detroit Red Wings: Lost to the Bruins who lost to the Canadiens who lost to the Rangers. Transitive property indicates they must be reeeeeeeally shitty.
1. Detroit Tigers: Payroll and aging players like the Yankees but without the titles. Perhaps shooting for less successful, shorter peak Atlanta Braves? Ignores fact they have a top 10 all-time 2B making them complicit in his laughable Hall of Fame non-candidacy. Handed over a legit #2 just for the spectacle of superfans tripping over themselves to justify trade. Money can't buy titles, but it can buy playoff appearances!

The Kings win their third straight game 7 on the road. I hate the Kings, but one has to respect that accomplishment.
Go Rangers.

By the way, I wonder if Michael del Zotto is enjoying this in Nashville?

I imagine the flight was a bigger negative than the rest was a positive. Not like LA was turning around in a day.

I'm a very casual hockey watcher, and I'm always just amazed at how skilled these guys are. They are incredible skaters, and their stick skills are jaw dropping. Especially when they do the re-directs on shots. No idea how they can do that so well.
Quick is playing out of his mind in this game (Game 3).
And it must be said again....Doc Emrick is a national treasure.

Doc Emrick can go pitchfork or sashay or spirit a puck past a waffleboard and into his own dick.

I seem to recall the Kings being down 3-0 in a series recently and that worked out ok for them.

About the only way I could feel worse right now is if I were in Detroit.
