Pretty impressive the way he juggled her. Plus athlete.
But, people ... you have to have SOME situational awareness. How do you not notice a bull of that size coming at you before it hits you? It wasn't even sprinting at her.

I mean, I'm sure it takes the brain a couple of seconds to process that there's a fucking bull in the concourse.

Beautiful thing about not being on Twitter, I haven’t seen Grimace since his shake first came out, no idea what hawk rush means, and I’ve only seen 2 or 3 world tour memes, and wouldn’t have registered if not for the Jeselnik podcast commenting on the story first.rass wrote: Sun Jun 23, 2024 1:28 pm We more sick of grimace or hawk tuah or world tour memes right now? I know of the Grimace thing and I’m enjoying it, if only for the false hope it gives Mets fans, which will make their expected disappointment that much funnier.

Grimace threw out the first pitch in Citi Field, then the Mets ripped off 6 or 7 wins in row. So now Grimace is a good omen or something. It’s this decade’s Linsanity run.The Sybian wrote: Sun Jun 23, 2024 3:36 pmI looked it up, seems like the Mets had Grimace throw out the first pitch. Re: Twitter:The New Batch
I signed up for twitter again after about a year away just because I wanted to see the reaction about refs in a Euro soccer game (spoiler alert: twitter thought the refs were bad). I followed my usual DMB and Boston sports accounts, and my entire timeline is flooded with anti-vax, transphobia, the election was stolen, and Biden has Parkinsons and can't put two words together, but is also leading the all powerful and evil deep state nonsense. I thought I could counter it creating my bubble by following some liberal news accounts and muting or saying I'm not interested in posts, but it's relentless no matter how many accounts I mute. I probably made it worse for myself by clicking on some of the stupidity because I used to read the replies just destroying the stupid post, but when I do that, every single reply agrees with the stupid post. If twitter has any influence at all in elections, we are fucked.

When companies band together and collectively decide not to advertise on a site, it's dicey. It's a horizontal group boycott.L-Jam3 wrote: Tue Aug 06, 2024 1:03 pmETA: It haven't really read up on this, but according to her, it sounds like she's saying that companies should be compelled to advertise on a site; otherwise it's a collusive act. I had an antitrust case where we represented a used car dealer who had a radio show. We sued a bunch of local Toyota dealers because they collectively boycotted the station to force them to drop our guy's show. We got past summary judgment on the horizontal boycott issue and then settled.
To me, the Twitter situation is clearly different from the used car dealer situation because the companies theoretically boycotting none of them are competing with Twitter, or trying to force Twitter to take action against a competitor.
It can also be an antitrust violation if competitors agree among themselves not to advertise on a certain media site or property unless the site/property lowers its prices. I think that's a closer analogy, but I still think Twitter's case ultimately fails because the actions alleged don't appear intended to be anti-competitive.

Just dropping in to say I spend less and less time there. It feels increasingly toxic and irrelevant.
I follow mostly baseball accounts, and yet like 50% of the posts are people I follow posting sad/angry things that have nothing to do with baseball, 25% of them are posting content that is redundant/adds no value to me, and maybe 25% of the tweets are the content I'm looking for.
I swear when I joined in 2020, it was 75% good stuff.
