Same, except I now work for a government agency where we get something like 13 paid holidays. Just need to get those lazy Finns organized to come up with a holiday for St. Teemu Selanne so I can get a 14th holiday.

Its one of my all-time favorites...and I wore out the vinyl back in high school...but "Les Boys" is kind of a weak closing track. Your mileage may vary though.

Bad things that have happened to me already today:
- Had to wake up at 6:47 AM
- Oldest’s travel team eliminated from the playoffs as a higher seed
- Took a shit at wawa
- Drove 20 more miles
- Youngest’s travel team eliminated from the playoffs as a higher seed
- Stopped at a brewery (yay?) just in time for “We Didn’t Start the Fire” to play

Expecting Judge and Soto to collide and die tonight.

It’s a good wawa. Roselle park near breakwater. Some dude in there had a Beukeboom jersey and when I walked by and said “hell yeah Beukeboom” he gave a little fist pump that indicates he wears that jersey to get comments and it always works.

I had fun when I was in a helicopter. I didn't get air sick like I do in planes. The pilot practiced some evasive maneuvers. It was like being on a free falling rollercoaster.

(With the propeller on top, your center of balance/gravity/whatever is at the top of your head instead of in your lower back like on a plane. My head stays stationary and I don't get dizzy/nauseous.)

If I had the urge, getting a pilot's license on my remaining GI Bill money would be a thing.

If I somehow became 16 again but with all the knowledge I have now and all that, pilot would be on my preliminary list of occupations to consider. Seems kinda fun.

Airline pilot seems pretty shitty, and the pay is terrible.
