It has really picked up, lately, at least for me. Go check now to see if your favorite twitter follows are there. More and more showing up, particularly related to news and politics. Post at Bluesky about your interests. Reply to interesting posts. It's a lot smaller community, so you can much more easily "get noticed" and gain followers/find people to follow.

My "Popular with Friends" feed has exactly 3 posts in it. It had 1 the other day.
