Re: NFL Week 10
Jim Harbaugh became only the fifth person to win 50 games as an NFL and FBS coach. Who are the other four?

Switzer and John Robinson are probably two. Jimmy Johnson and... Al Groh?
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Tied with Mel Ott at Number 25 is Miguel Cabrera at 511.

Nope. (SDSU wasn’t FBS when he was there.)

Barry Switzer was only in Dallas for three seasons, so I think that is wrong.
Going to have think this pne through. Defo JJ and John Robinson mind.

Re: NFL Week 10
Well there you go. Never thought about that at all.
Let's see. Bobby Ross? Or was Army in the same boat as SDSU? Not sure how independent status affects the military schools but it seems to be they are FBS.

Re: NFL Week 10
John McKay probably didn't win enough games as the Bucs head coach despite being their HC for like a decade.

Bobby Ross and Pete Carroll are indeed the last two.

Looked it up after he confirmed, and somehow had it in my mind Army was before GT. It wasn't even close!

Re: NFL Week 10
Just looked it up - Ross was an assistant / position coach for the Chiefs during that era where they (and I think a couple other teams) always had those silly masks on their helmets. Like, Riddell made 95% of masks, and Play-Doh made the other 5%.

Oddly, one of the first names that cropped up for me after Jimmy and John Robinson was Jack Pardee, but I was way off in the NCAA totals at Houston...
Re: NFL Week 10
I just heard he passed. But I think it’s clear Harbaugh is the one to blame.

At least Robinson was 89? One of the last guys I’ll always remember as being old. Joe Torre is still with us.
