Shit, never mentioned my closest brush with personalized plates - my FIL had EYERISH NJ plates. He became a limo driver at one point and had to take them off his cars but never returned them and we have them downstairs somewhere.

GUADLUP - Black Texas plate, sometime in the late 70s/early 80s Chevy pick-up

The Guadalupe is one of the mid-major rivers in Texas famous for floating, and a lot of times people refer to it without the A sound at the end. Now that I think about it, I'm guessing that guy works at one of the companies on the river because they all have beater trucks that carry tubes back and forth.
