"Ultimately, you yearn and I yearn for better synchronization, for a more complimentary style of ball, in a sense. You know, some things don't get you until it gets you. And there's definitely been some urgency there, trying to figure it out. And got to keep climbing and trying to progress."

Russell Wilson would roll his eyes at this.

My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Tied with Mel Ott at Number 25 is Miguel Cabrera at 511.

ETA: they do play the Jags again this season so…

The 1983 Houston Oilers were fecking terrible, and the Vince Young followed by Jake Locker Titans teams were a shit show, but this current offense may top all of that. The Defense, when healthy has been pretty damn good this season though.

The Titans are going to persist with Levis next season, and with the best will in the world, he ain't going to suddenly bloom into a Josh Allen or Mahomes anytime soon. He has zero pocket presense and the oline is still horrible.

The draft does not look like it is going to be a great one, so like Lions fans, it is the hope that kills you and I will continue to live in hope.

1. Atlanta +5 @ Minnesota

The Vikings seem like they win every game by 2 points. I'll gladly take the points here and hope that Kirk Cousins isn't the worst QB in the NFL again this week.
While Mac Jones and Will Levis may not allow Kirk Cousins to call himself the worst QB in the NFL last week, he was once again in the running. If only the Falcons had another option they could turn to.

2. Carolina +12 @ Philadelphia

This is entirely betting against a big spread. I have no justification for taking Carolina other than "big favorite bad".
Big underdogs are doing great this year.

3. Cleveland +6.5 @ Pittsburgh

Come on guys
The kicker didn't help but neither did Jameis Winston being way off the entire game. Once again with a chance for a cheap bullshit cover he throws a pick. Damn it Jameis.

4. Jacksonville @ Tennessee Under 39.5

This is a bet that Mac Jones ends up playing again this week and leading his team to the usual 6 points.
He put up 10! Will Levis however stepped up and notched the 6. Good job guys.

5. NY Jets @ Miami Under 45

The Dolphins occasionally score a few points. The Jets never score points.
Ok points were certainly scored in this one.

6. Seattle +2.5 @ Arizona

Arizona is such a fraud
Kyler Murray is awful. He's never going to be good. They will give him ten years but he's never going to be good.

[/quote]

Sitting at 3-3 after a rough week, need Dallas to lose by less than 6 to notch a winning week.

I may be wrong, but it could be the first double doubleheader in years outside of Week 1 and Week 17/18. I didn't realize until yesterday that both networks have 4:25 ET games

Bart Simpson at tailback for the Bengals. Just reminds me of the old backyard sports video game. The writing is pretty weak and some of the angles they cut too are terrible during the action.

I don’t understand this Simpsons thing, who is the audience for this? Kids aren’t up this late (the world revolves on EST). and I can’t imagine someone who doesn’t watch football would watch this. Did they show the entire game in this format? Was it delayed so they could decide which player to make a character? How much did it cost to create this? Am I just a grumpy old man?

Guessing Sony is paying for a chunk of this. But some pre-canned stuff and real time data (I think all NFL players have trackers in their shoulder pads).

The delay made it unwatchable for me...it was at least 2-3 minutes behind the regular broadcast (which I was watching on YouTube TV that is already 30 seconds to one minute behind real time).

Brilliant play by Dallas to touch that punt and then give up a TD and not cover the spread. 3-4, first losing week in awhile. It was fun while it lasted.

The funniest thing about the whole Simpsons thing is that’s the only reason that dogshit game wasn’t flexed to something better. They had already done too much of the custom animation.

The league changes game days? That would seem pretty fucked up for people who book trips in advance, no?

Happened to the Broncos...Bronco fans had planned vacations to LA the weekend before Christmas and they flexed the game into Thursday the 19th.

To be clear I’m pro-flex but it can also be true the NFL’s least important “customer” is fans traveling to an opposing team’s stadium. Between them and the networks? Well, lol I don’t have to say it.
